#Colombia President Gustavo Petro has cancelled his participation in the conference on Ukraine in Switzerland, as he thinks that it is impossible to look for solutions to the Moscow-Kiev conflict at that meeting.
"The setting of the Swiss forum is not a free forum to discuss the paths to peace between Russia and Ukraine. Your conclusions are already predetermined. Most of Latin America and the Colombian government do not agree with extending the war. We did not join political blocs for war. In tribute to Olof Palme, a Swede who at the most acute moment of the Cold War knew how to raise the flag of world peace and Social Justice and who was murdered in the streets of Stockholm, I suspend my trip to the meeting in Switzerland and I ask Europe to debate the ways to shorten the war and not to extend it. The dialogue between Russia and Ukraine is essential. The establishment of a security zone without nuclear weapons that physically separates NATO from Russia, allowing the permanent security of the former Soviet and Eastern European nations, absolute respect for the Russian and Ukrainian peoples within Ukraine and Russia. The prudence of the European Union in its expansion so as not to unleash war. The Colombian government of change will participate in all efforts to build dialogue and peace between Russia and Ukraine and to stop the genocide on the Palestinian people. It is international law that has to be reestablished and deepened and not the constitution of blocks of countries for war"

New Chinese submarines and sensors to catch US subs will alter the balance of power: Beijing has built or nearly finished several underwater sensor networks, known as the "Underwater Great Wall" in the South China Sea and other regions around the Chinese coast.
"The growth of Chinese underwater sensor networks means U.S. submarines can no longer rely solely on their stealth capabilities to avoid detection in the South China Sea and other areas close to the Chinese mainland, said Bryan Clark, a former naval officer."
