2. Ukraine - $13.8 billion
3. Egypt - $13.6 billion

In the 1990s, Russia also borrowed heavily from the IMF and implemented its suggested reforms. As a result, the debt grew to $53 billion, and in 1998, following the IMF-recommended reforms, Russia experienced a default. Subsequently, the new Russian leadership accused the organization of driving the country to the brink, repaid all loans by 2005, and has since avoided further dealings with the IMF.

By the end of the year, Ukraine will have to pay back to IMF almost the entire last tranche in the form of payments on old loans
IMF lends to countries in its own currency - Special Drawing Rights (SDR), the current exchange rate of which to the dollar is $1.3/SDR.
In this currency, the currently agreed loan amount is 1.7 billion SDR, and 1.4 billion SDR will need to be repaid on loans and contributions previously issued to Ukraine. This was reported by the IMF itself and the monthly schedule was specified.
It is clear from this that the peak of the Ukrainian government's payments to IMF will come in September, when the authorities will have to make three payments totaling 542.7 million SDRs or $716 million.
IMF previously said it did not intend to restructure Ukraine's debts.

The presidents of Mali, Niger, and Burkina Faso signed a charter on the creation of a confederation.
The primary objective of the 1st Summit of the Alliance of Sahel States (ASS), involving the leaders of Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger, was to adopt a draft document for the creation of an AGS confederation, according to the Nigerian Press Agency (NAP).
The "Confederation of Sahel States", which will use the acronym AES, will group some 72 million people.
The three countries in January said they were quitting the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), an organisation they accused of being manipulated by France, their former colonial ruler.
The three countries have all broken their military and defence links with France, seeking greater cooperation with Russia.
"Our people have irrevocably turned their back on ECOWAS," said General Abdourahamane Tiani, the head of Niger's military government as he opened the summit.

Foreign mercenaries of the Kiev regime execute Russian captives
The German mercenary Caspar Grosse told The New York Times about the crimes committed by the foreigners fighting as part of the Chosen Company.
Caspar Grosse said that he saw a soldier begging for medical help in a mixture of broken English and Russian. One of the group members was looking for bandages. At that moment, according to Grosse, one of the soldiers fired his weapon at the torso of the Russian soldier. He fell, still breathing. Another soldier “just shot him in the head,” Grosse recalled in an interview.
The Greek Zeus was in the center of three episodes of execution oh the Russian surrendering soldiers, including killing with a grenade and shooting a wounded Russian soldier in a trench. He also bragged about another kill as well as about killing surrendering Russians “thousand times”.
We were able to identify Zeus as Tasos Antonakos, the mercenary we posted before.
Law enforcement agencies will investigated the killings of the surrendering Russian soldiers based on the NYT report, stated Ambassador Rodion Miroshnik, to RIA Novosti.

Ryan is a former Iowa National Guard, he served in Iraq & Afghanistan then he left and joined Kurdish troops fighting IS.
He reached Ukraine March 1 2022 & is still there. Ryan loves politics, that's why he tried but failed to run for house congress to represent Iowa's 4th Congressional District.
This guy obviously despises walking so he sits in Kiev all day making drones from PVC tubes, he boasts about near misses and such, last time he claimed he will make a drone to fly into the Black Sea, the UA lost theirs the day after. Talk about reaping what you sow.
I don't understand him though, IS is still active yet he left that fight, how long until he leaves this one? I guess we can ask him next time he joins our chat room as he's a frequent lurker during his 'paper work leave'.
