The story behind the video is as follows: Russian scouts found civilians, ordinary people, in #Volchansk. From a drone, they saw a SOS written on a metal sheet on the roof of a shelter. Help was needed.

It turned out that two men were hiding in the basement, one of whom was injured. The Russian scouts tried to assist them. They sent a drone carrying a bottle of water, a first aid kit, and a note that read: “Follow the drone; we’ll lead you to safety.”

The men, likely wearing white T-shirts to indicate they were civilians—white flag—followed the drone.

Ukrainian forces spotted the two civilians from their drone amidst the ruins and killed them with aerial strikes. They simply bombarded the men with grenades, despite them being civilians, Ukrainians. They were killed.

Sometimes it feels like we are fighting against absolute evil. Whether it wears an SS helmet, targets civilians in Belgorod, chases a car with children using an FPV drone, or kills two civilians in Volchansk because they moved toward Russian positions.

One could say many harsh and loud words about this, but is it necessary? What’s the point? It’s clear enough already.

Just pray for the innocent Russian lives lost, who were so close to being saved from the retribution. I do not know their names or those of the scouts, but the Lord knows for sure.
