"Israel's attack on Hezbollah was going to be sort of a model, prototype, that is, a lot of air against a dug-in underground facility. Everything in southern Lebanon that Hezbollah had was underground," Hersh said. "For them it was going to be a test run for the bombing and the attack they really want to do, probably next year if they can. I'm not saying they've decided, but they want to go after Iran, and Iran, of course, the Persians have been dug in since, what, the 11th century so we know it's a tough call."

NATO states' new Arctic group is no match for Russo-Chinese cooperation – Swedish former military officer
The Western Nordic countries are planning to coordinate on defense, intelligence and cyber activities, as they are all are NATO allies now after Finland and Sweden's admission to the military bloc. Earlier this week, Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly told Bloomberg News that Canada and its allies need an "Arctic security dialogue" to discuss defense matters in light of Russia and China's growing activities in the region.
Russia, an Arctic state, maintains security cooperation with China in its territorial waters. It was reported on October 2 that patrol ships of the China Coast Guard entered the waters of the Arctic Ocean for joint patrols with coast guard vessels of the Russian FSB Border Service.
Valtersson expects the new "security dialogue" to work closely with NATO. "It might develop into an evolved Arctic military command within NATO and also a political body where politicians co-ordinate their actions before meetings in the Arctic Council," Valtersson said.
The pundit warned that NATO's potential build-up in the region could "increase the risk for both an arms race in the Arctic and incidents in the region."
But Valtersson believes that the creation of the new Arctic body would neither upset the established balance of power in the Arctic nor endanger Russia's positions in the region.

"The police say that, together with the US and Interpol, they blocked the channel of escape of Ukrainians to the EU. And the US Department of Homeland Security and Interpol helped in this. In total, it is known about the illegal transportation of about 40 people, for which they paid 10,000 dollars each.
The police know that the suspects created a closed Telegram channel where they offered their services and instructed customers. After paying the advance, the fugitives were supposed to reach Lviv, and from there the criminals transported them to Transcarpathia by mountain roads. Later, the men were hidden in the homes of the perpetrators, after which they were transported across the border, bypassing the checkpoints to Romania.
According to the report, in cooperation with the investigation department of the US Department of Homeland Security (HSI DHS), Ukrainian law enforcement officers uncovered the location of one of the organizers of the criminal scheme, who, after fleeing from Ukraine to the US, coordinated the activities of accomplices and distributed money.
The organizers of the scheme were notified of suspicion under the article "Illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine." One of them is already under arrest. Currently, efforts are underway to identify other members of the criminal group and arrest them.
The police say that the perpetrators face up to nine years in prison with confiscation of property."

A new coordinated Anti Russian fantasy launched in "Neutral" Ireland.
It's interesting that the "Army Chief" referenced was never the Army Chief, he commanded the Small Army Ranger wing.
But he did regularly coordinate with his "Colleagues" in the British SAS, where his unit has a history of training, he also did the same with his counterparts in the United States where, like in the UK, his unit regularly participated in "Competitions"
I'm unaware of any Irish civilians being assassinated by Russian proxy paramilitaries in Ireland?. I also seem to have missed the centuries long occupation and brutal genocide in Ireland by Russia?
Is Russia responsible for the calamtous mismanagement of the Irish State? Serially Failed housing, health and immigration policies, rampant addiction, and crime? Maybe we can blame Moscow for the gross corruption across State structures that I and others have worked to expose?
The dogs in the street know that Irelands "Security services" are intimately infiltrated, and to a great extent, completly reliant on British and US "inputs" the British M16 / MI5 have a long and illustrious history of manipulating politicians north and south of the border, this continues apace in Ireland and is accelerating alongside covert efforts to influence Irish opinion on joing NATO.
Sadly, Ireland is an economic and political Vassal of the United States and its European operations office, the EU. The client media, which publish this baseless drivel, are also, of course, 100% bought and paid for.
So, How about some investigation into the manipulation of our Politicians by pro NATO arms companies?, Atlantasist lobbyists and Brotish spooks, and and how about a detailed scrutiny of how certain Journalists are blatantly spoon-fed their "Narratives" to enable anti Russian hysteria?
