#Russia has begun to massively use thermobaric warheads on Shahed-136 drones, which pose a much greater threat when striking premises. This warhead was named TB BCh-50, and its existence has been known since April 2024. Currently, drones that are attacking Ukrainian cities most often use such equipment.

#Latvia

Less than half of Latvia's residents associate their future with the country

Only 47% of respondents said that they see their future in Latvia, and only 45% feel that they belong to Latvia.
37% of respondents indicated that the state does not listen to them at all, and another 36% chose the answer "rather, does not listen". People aged 45-65 and Russian-speakers feel less heard.
The number of those who believe that they have no chance of influencing political processes in the country has decreased from 38% to 31% since 2023, the number of those who assess such chances as average has increased from 14% to 18%, and those who believe that the chances are high has increased from 2% to 4%. The most pessimistic are people aged 55-75, rural residents, those with secondary vocational or special education, pensioners, the unemployed, and Russian speakers.

🔸 The UK government has decided to spend another 3 billion pounds on defence. That is quite a lot for a country with a huge hole in its budget. Is it a good thing? I'm not sure.

🔸 The Georgian people have elected a party that is disliked in the EU, and Brussels has started to intervene in [the internal affairs of] Georgia. <...> Georgians now understand that the "rosy" American project that was developed with Mikhail Saakashvili in the early 2000s has failed and caused serious damage to Georgia.
