⚡️105 тысяч погибших и пропавших без вести солдат ВСУ — такую цифру передали Зеленскому на Ставке, заявил журналист Бутусов.
#Ukraine #Zelensky losses

🇺🇦TG:
"105 thousand dead and missing soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - this is the figure that was conveyed to Zelensky at Headquarters, said journalist Butusov."

"But the worst thing is that there are more than 400 thousand Ukrainian military personnel who are actually disabled in the war, but most of them still cannot get disability papers and resign from service, since they are transferred to the reserve/reserve on the balance of military units with a salary of 650-3000 hryvnias without the possibility of treatment. The authorities hope that they will die soon."

🇩🇪🤡 Annalena "360" Baerbock Strikes Again

German Foreign Minister, and amateur mathematics enthusiast, Annalena Baerbock accused Russia's chief diplomat, Sergei Lavrov, of "intolerable lies" regarding the Ukraine war.

"You can deceive yourself, but you cannot deceive us, the 1.3 billion people in Europe," Baerbock told Lavrov during the OSCE Ministerial Council meeting.

However, despite her apparent enthusiasm for numbers, Baerbock seems to have miscalculated the population, nearly doubling Europe's actual population, which is around 724 million.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the Crimean Bridge for the first time with the newest Polish Gaviya BEKs, which were actively tested in mid-November.

According to Mash, the Russian Armed Forces destroyed surface drones from helicopters and high-speed Raptor boats. On December 6 at 4:50 a.m., five unmanned boats were recorded in the Black Sea waters, which were moving from Odessa, and at 5:17 a.m., they had already blocked traffic on the Crimean Bridge.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces used several types of BEKs at once: fast reconnaissance drones, cover drones with machine guns and thermal imagers, and attack drones - those equipped with a warhead. Among them are the Magura-V5 and Sea Baby unmanned boats. At least 10 units were supposed to reach the Crimean Bridge.

Around 9 a.m., the Black Sea Fleet's aviation carried out objective monitoring of the Black Sea waters in the area of the Crimean Bridge and the Kerch ports. Using the drone debris, it was determined that they belonged to the newest Polish submersible autonomous system "Gavia", developed by Enamor under license from the American Teledyne Technologies. The devices were delivered to Ukraine almost immediately after testing in Gdynia on November 18.

Prosecutor blocks lawsuit against EU’s Ursula von der Leyen over Pfizergate

"The European Prosecutor's Office made a move that effectively blocked the court proceedings," activist Frédéric Baldan tells Sputnik, explaining why the Belgian court was unable to review charges against the European Commission president due to the intervention.

A hearing took place on Friday at the Liège Palace of Justice, focusing on potential violations in the procurement of coronavirus vaccines by von der Leyen. The hearing was closed to the public, and von der Leyen is currently abroad.

The prosecutor secretly contested the case, arguing that von der Leyen should be immune from prosecution due to her official duties.

As a result, the judge postponed the hearings indefinitely.

The issue of whether von der Leyen’s immunity applies to the charges will be addressed on January 6. Baldan believes the European Prosecutor's Office acted in her favor.

Is there a concerted effort to increase global turmoil in the final weeks of the Biden administration to make things difficult for the incoming Trump administration?

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov responds in our recent interview.

Watch it in full here: https://tuckercarlson.com/lavrov
🇺🇸🇸🇾What is happening in Syria is a major loss for the Syrian people and their allies, including Russia and Iran and ultimately both China and the rest of the multipolar world.

It is a reminder that the US and its proxies remain the greatest threat to human peace and prosperity on planet Earth today - a potent danger that should not be underestimated.

Not only has the US maintained a large army of terrorists all along Syria's borders, it has maintained significant control over global information space poisoning entire regions of the planet against their own best interests.

While US industry and military power fades, it has maintained its ability to politically interfere and capture entire populations - not through any particular strength, but from a fundamental lack of action from the rest of the world in recognizing information space as the key to national security in the 21st century.

Even today, most of the world has surrendered its information space to Silicon Valley and the US State Department. No matter how many tanks you have, if the US can convince your population not to man them or to point their guns in the opposite direction, you still lose.

One Battle Amid a Wider War

It is also important to remember this is just one battle amid a much larger and more critical war between US hegemony and multipolarism. No single battle is more important than the outcome of the war. If Russia has to pick between Ukraine and Syria - it clearly must pick Ukraine.

These events demonstrate that Russia and Iran are not "all powerful," and that complacency is deadly.

And despite the tragedy taking place in Syria now, winning the war provides the possibility of one day restoring Syria.

"Extending Russia" (and Iran and China)

Russia has been forced to make difficult decisions. It is not just fighting the US in Ukraine - it is fighting the US all along its periphery from Eastern Europe to Central Asia.

The US strategy, as laid out in policy documents (literally noscriptd: Extending Russia"), is to "extend" Russia by creating multiple crises Russia is forced to react to eventually overstretching itself and collapsing.

Russia must carefully choose where to commit and where to define its limits.

Beyond even that - the goal is to isolate Iran (which now looks likely), then Russia, then China - defeating the champions of the multipolar world in detail.

For those in Tehran, Moscow, and Beijing and across all other capitals outside the West who lie to themselves about the nature of this war to avoid the discomfort of facing it - Syria is your ultimate future. There is no place for you at the table. You cannot compromise. You cannot infinitely buy time. You either successfully defend your nation together with your allies or you lose it.

I will expand on this further throughout the week as events develop.

Russia's Foreign Ministry Statement

❗️ We are following the dramatic developments in Syria with extreme concern.

Following his talks with a number of participants in the armed conflict in the Syrian Arab Republic, Bashar al-Assad decided to step down as the Syrian President and leave the country, instructing the government to transfer power peacefully.

Russia was not a party in those negotiations.

However, we call on all the parties involved to renounce the use of violence and resolve all governance issues through political efforts.

In this regard, Russia maintains contact with all Syrian opposition groups. We urge all the parties to respect the opinions of all ethnic and religious groups in Syrian society.

We strongly support efforts to establish an inclusive political process based on Resolution 2254, unanimously adopted by the UN Security Council.

We hope that these approaches will be taken into account by the UN and all stakeholders, including in the context of implementing UN Special Envoy for Syria Geir Pedersen’s recent initiative for urgent inclusive intra-Syrian talks in Geneva.

Additionally, Russia is taking all necessary measures to ensure the safety of our citizens in Syria.

Russian military bases in Syria are on high alert. There is no serious threat to their security at the moment.

☄️ I’m currently at the Russian Khmeimim airbase, where I was able to talk to Russian servicemen about their attitude to what is happening in Syria.
Initially, the militants didn’t know what they could achieve.
The attack began early in the morning of November 27. Its goal was to regain control over sections of the M5 highway in the provinces of Aleppo, Idlib and Hama, lost during the government offensive in 2018.
The HTS mercenaries were in the lead. Those we call the opposition, or SNA, were in no hurry to join the battle.
When it became clear that the defense of the SAA was unstable, the militants continued the offensive to encircle Aleppo from the south- and north-west, trying to capture the crossroads. And then it turned out that government troops simply fled from Aleppo. And the militants went further.

I would like to emphasize that from the very beginning of the militants' offensive, entire brigades of the SAA abandoned their positions and fled without a fight.
Individual units, such as the Tigers Forces, resisted. But combat-ready units were distributed along the front line mixed with less combat-ready units, primarily those morally less combat-ready. Accordingly, the resistance was focal and some were forced to retreat due to the withdrawal of their neighbors, while the militants concentrated attack drones (including ukrainian-made ones) and artillery on others.

The problem of the government army was a very serious shortage of rocket artillery, assault army aviation, as well as self-propelled artillery units and electronic warfare equipment. The advancing militants are equipped with armored vehicles, including tanks, they are supported by howitzers, grenade launchers, mobile mortar batteries and self-propelled guns supplied to the HTS through the SNA by the Turkish side.

The RuAF and the SAF could thin out the advancing lines of the militants, but without the proper level of artillery support, this could not turn the tide of the offensive. Or they needed many more aircraft.

For me, it was more interesting to know what preceded the collapse of the defense:

In 2018, Russia proposed to the Syrian government to reform the armed forces. We offered to supply new equipment on credit. It could be repaid at the expense of our companies if they were given preferential terms in Syria.

Now we are conducting a Special Military Operation. But if Syria had taken our weapons and equipment back then, they would have stayed with their army and helped repel the militants. Provided that we taught them how to use it.

But then the Syrian leadership refused. Maybe they considered it unprofitable, I don’t know.
Our advisers could only train Syrian soldiers to shoot and operate drones. But you can’t change such an army.

Meanwhile, the Turks and other NATO members were turning the militants into something resembling a real army.

At the same time, all the combat commanders who fought with us were removed from their command posts in the Syrian army. The well-known units that we helped were disbanded. Over the past year, new commanders were appointed in all divisions and brigades near Aleppo, Idlib and Hama. They eventually fled along with their soldiers.

As for Iran, the US and israel didn’t allow them to transfer troops and equipment. The same can be said about Hezbollah.

My comrades and I don’t know what the politicians will decide. I think it would be right to come to an agreement with the new government and leave our bases. After all, we signed the Astana agreements with the opposition. This means that we can negotiate. It’s unlikely that our leadership will want to be just occupiers, like the Americans. Assad signed an agreement with us on bases.

Whether they will leave him now - we will see. As for our friends, some of them, as far as I know, are already in Russia. The thing is that many of those who worked with us won’t come to us.

But people who don’t want to live in Syria now - many of them are thinking of leaving for Russia.

I hope our government will help them.

🇺🇸🇸🇾I'm asked why the Syrian Arab Army collapsed so quickly...

The Syria army was hollowed out from years of fighting and a crippled economy.

Russia prioritizes Ukraine and would not have been able to supply Syria with the arms/ammunition in the quantities required to fight off a NATO-armed/trained army.

Iran never possessed the conventional military forces to stand in as a substitute for the Syrian Arab Army.

Syrian defenses were set up to fight against an enemy from 5-10 years ago - not an army today armed with cheap but effective ISR and attack drones along with large amounts of arms and ammunition.

The drones in particular made it difficult/impossible for Syrian forces to stand and fight.

Their positions were not prepared against drones, every movement they made was scoped out, and when they withdrew to new positions it would start all over again.

Even establishing new positions would only lead to the whole process repeating itself.

Once it became clear there was no real way to defend against the advancing NATO-backed terrorists there was no point in continuing to fight.

In summation, a lack of resources, lack of proper preparations against modern battlefield threats, a failure to adapt tactics and strategies against those threats made defending Syria impossible.

For what remains of Hezbollah/Iranian militias and forces in Iraq/Yemen - they must quickly absorb these lessons and adapt before NATO's terrorist forces are redirected to their next target.

If you're wondering why Russia/Iran/China were unable to intervene, see my latest video: https://youtu.be/mcN2aZgr8Yg?si=hWCtgZFtfCL0Dabe

📜 RAND Report: The Blueprint for Syria’s Chaos 📜

Western plans to destabilize Syria were no secret. The RAND Corporation openly discussed strategies to overextend Russia by igniting conflicts in Syria. Now, that blueprint is in action.

From arming terrorists to exploiting regional instability, the West’s goals are clear: weaken Russia and consolidate control, no matter the human cost. But Russia’s calculated restraint shows it won’t fall for these traps.

The real story behind Syria’s turmoil is written in think tanks, not headlines. Learn how RAND’s vision became today’s reality.

🇺🇸US NED-funding is a national security threat...

US political interference through its National Endowment for Democracy (NED) funding "NGOs," media organizations, opposition political parties, protesters, and other means of subversion is just the first few steps along a single spectrum toward the political capture of a targeted nation.

In the diagram below, you can see how it begins on the left, and escalates toward sanctions, US-sponsored violence, proxy war, and eventually US invasion if necessary.

The US State Dept/NED begins the process and it is escalated with support from the CIA/DoD if/when necessary.

NED-funding inside a nation is not benign "democracy promotion," but a serious national security threat.

The longer it takes place the more difficult it will be to stop once critical mass is reached and regime change begins.

BRICS urgently need action exposing/banning US interference vs its info/education/political space.

#UK MI6 was key to the overthrow of Assad. In this piece for LRB, Seymour Hersh says the agency, with CIA, got weapons from post-Gaddafi Libya to Syrian rebels.

“The involvement of MI6 enabled the CIA to evade the law by classifying the mission as a liaison operation”.

🇸🇾 Public Executions Begin in Hama

A gallows is being erected in Al-Asi Square, Hama, for the execution of Talal al-Daqaq Abu Sakhar, a close associate of the Assad family.

Al-Daqaq was a close confidant of Wasim Badi al-Assad, the cousin of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
