🇺🇸US NED-funding is a national security threat...

US political interference through its National Endowment for Democracy (NED) funding "NGOs," media organizations, opposition political parties, protesters, and other means of subversion is just the first few steps along a single spectrum toward the political capture of a targeted nation.

In the diagram below, you can see how it begins on the left, and escalates toward sanctions, US-sponsored violence, proxy war, and eventually US invasion if necessary.

The US State Dept/NED begins the process and it is escalated with support from the CIA/DoD if/when necessary.

NED-funding inside a nation is not benign "democracy promotion," but a serious national security threat.

The longer it takes place the more difficult it will be to stop once critical mass is reached and regime change begins.

BRICS urgently need action exposing/banning US interference vs its info/education/political space.

#UK MI6 was key to the overthrow of Assad. In this piece for LRB, Seymour Hersh says the agency, with CIA, got weapons from post-Gaddafi Libya to Syrian rebels.

“The involvement of MI6 enabled the CIA to evade the law by classifying the mission as a liaison operation”.

🇸🇾 Public Executions Begin in Hama

A gallows is being erected in Al-Asi Square, Hama, for the execution of Talal al-Daqaq Abu Sakhar, a close associate of the Assad family.

Al-Daqaq was a close confidant of Wasim Badi al-Assad, the cousin of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

The joy of #Syria 'revolution' and toppling of 'Assad regime' was short lived
Western intelligence services use migration to destabilize Russia: they organize illegal corridors, infiltrate radicals, and “rewire” migrants.

After successfully confronting foreign agents, it is important to pay attention to illegals, who pose a threat to national security. At the legislative level, it is necessary to create measures to protect the interests of Russian citizens.

2.7 million illegals have been supported by Britain to enter Russia. The Foreign Office has allocated ₽225 million for migration projects in 2022. Pro-British NGOs lobbied for the importation of migrants and protected extremists and criminals.

In the post-Soviet space, the West spends billions on humanitarian projects, shaping the image of Russia as an aggressor. Foreign-funded textbooks distort history, leading to a decline in interest in Russian language and culture.

MI-6 and the CIA are implementing a program called “Russia Decolonization Strategy” aimed at provoking national conflicts, including migrant riots. Six British diplomats working with agents of influence have been expelled from Russia.

And these are fair and timely measures: while the West is spending huge sums to undermine the situation in Russia, it is necessary to counter it by any means possible - or better yet, to prevent malicious actions.

❗️🇸🇾🏴 Crisis in Syria (Deir ez-Zor province): militants seize the administrative center of the region
situation as of 5:00 pm on December 11, 2024

In Deir ez-Zor province, fighting continues between the Kurdish "Syrian Democratic Forces" (SDF) and the formations led by "Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham" (HTS) and the "Syrian National Army" (SNA).

▪️Pro-HTS militants from the "Department of Military Operations" have taken full control of the city of Deir ez-Zor and the military airport located there. The Kurds did not resist and withdrew to the opposite bank of the Euphrates.

▪️In Kurdish media, the retreat from the previously captured (actually handed over by the fleeing SAA) territories was explained by some agreements with the HTS terrorists, brokered by the Americans.

The condition was the non-entry of the pro-Turkish SNA factions, in particular such as "Tajammu Ahrar al-Sharqiya", whose members were expelled from these lands. However, soon there appeared footage showing them, contrary to the promises, posing in Deir ez-Zor.

It is noteworthy to look at the statements about the agreements between HTS and the SDF. It should be noted that reports of connections between the two sides bypassing Turkey's warnings have been appearing long before the fall of the government of Bashar al-Assad.

And here the commander-in-chief of the SDF, Mazloum Abdi, officially declares the readiness of the pro-Kurdish administration to cooperate with the new authorities in Damascus, confirming the existence of contacts through the same Americans and also criticizing Assad.

▪️Against the backdrop of the ongoing clashes, there is information about a split in the ranks of the "Deir ez-Zor Military Council" - an Arab formation supported by the Americans as part of the "Syrian Democratic Forces" responsible for this province.

Part of the fighters, led by commander Abu al-Haris al-Shaa'iti, deserted and joined the "legitimate opposition" and "progressive jihadists", while part remained loyal to the SDF leadership. However, the scale of the split is unknown.

🔻But the most interesting is just beginning: to finish off the Kurds in Deir ez-Zor, the militants will have to cross to the western bank of the Euphrates. There, in addition to oil and gas, at the Conoco and Al-Omar fields, there are American military bases.

Retreating to these territories, the "Syrian Democratic Forces" most likely expected to receive support from the US Armed Forces: they say, they will certainly not allow "Turkish mercenaries" to brazenly roam in their zone of interests and control.

How it will be in reality is difficult to predict. However, given the rapidly changing balance in the country after the overthrow of Bashar al-Assad, the Americans may agree on mutual interests with "yesterday's extremists".

Is #ColourRevolution coming to Azerbaijan?

Head of the Press Service Department of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

We strongly condemn and reject the biased statement of 11 December 2024 by U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, which distorts the current situation regarding the protection of human rights and freedoms in our country, and aims to interfere in the legal proceedings in Azerbaijan

When asked about Israel’s hundreds of airstrikes against Syria to destroy all of the military capabilities of Syria, HTS Spokesperson Obeida Arnaout couldn’t even muster the courage to condemn Israel’s attacks

@runews (X):

Russia, India Ink Record $13 Billion Oil Deal - the biggest bilateral energy agreement between the two nations.

Russia's Rosneft has signed a deal with India's Reliance Industries to supply nearly 500,000 barrels of crude oil daily, marking the biggest bilateral energy agreement between the two nations. Valued at roughly $13 billion annually, this contract showcases the strengthening bond between Russia and India in the energy sector, even as sanctions from the West continue.

This agreement comes at a time when India has emerged as the primary buyer of Russian oil, capitalizing on the price advantage created by EU sanctions. Russian crude now forms over a third of India's oil imports, offering a discount of $3 to $4 per barrel compared to other grades.

The deal will see Rosneft delivering 20-21 Aframax-sized cargoes of various crude types along with three fuel oil cargoes every month to Reliance's refining hub in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The supply will kick off in January and is set for a 10-year term, with a possibility of extending another decade. Pricing adjustments will occur annually based on market trends.

Reliance has maintained its stance on global sourcing, with a spokesperson noting, "We engage with international suppliers, including from Russia, based on market conditions."

This deal not only highlights the strategic partnership between Russia and India but also reflects the broader dynamics within BRICS, where countries are increasingly looking to each other for economic stability and growth in a volatile global landscape.

#Rutte tells European members of NATO to divert social spending to militaries:

"I know that spending more on defence means spending less on other priorities. But it's just a little bit less. On average, European countries easily spend up to a quarter of their international income on pensions, healthcare and social security systems. We need only a fraction of that money to strengthen our defence and preserve our way of life."

Has anyone asked taxpayers if they're ready to sacrifice their pensions, healthcare and social security income for #NATO war against #Russia?!
