"Baza" publishes the full trannoscript of the conversations between the pilots of the crashed AZAL plane and the dispatchers . It follows from it that all decisions not to land in Grozny, not to fly to Makhachkala, and then to go back to Baku - and as a result to fly to Aktau - were made by the crew of "Azerbaijan Airlines" independently.

The dispatchers suggested landing first in Grozny, then in Makhachkala, gave the crew data on other Russian airports, but the crew decided not to land there. Moreover, from the recordings it becomes clear that the version about a collision with birds, as well as about an exploding gas cylinder on board, was voiced by the crew of the aircraft in negotiations with the dispatchers. From the recordings it also follows that there was an external impact on the aircraft, although the pilot did not declare an emergency on board.

On December 25, an Azerbaijan Airlines Embraer 190 passenger plane flying from Baku to Grozny crashed near Aktau. There were 67 people on board, 38 of whom died and 29 survived.
