#Trump #Ukraine #Russia peace negotiations
Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed support for a potential 30-day ceasefire in the Ukraine conflict but has raised concerns regarding how such a truce be implemented. He warned of potential loopholes and strategic disadvantages.
“We also want guarantees that during the 30-day ceasefire, Ukraine will not conduct mobilization, will not train soldiers, and will not receive weapons,”
“These 30 days — how will they be used? To continue forced mobilization in Ukraine? To receive more arms supplies? To train newly mobilized units? Or will none of this happen?”
Putin also mentioned that Ukrainian troops who invaded Russia’s Kursk Region in August 2024 are now cut off. What is to be done with them in the event of a truce is unclear, he noted.
“Are we supposed to let them out, after they committed mass war crimes against civilians? Will the Ukrainian leadership tell them to lay down their arms, and just surrender?”

US President Donald Trump:
👁 I received news that everything is going well in Russia.
👁 I hope Putin and others are ready to put an end to this nightmare.
👁 I hope Russia will cease fire.
👁 The United States is discussing the territorial issue with Ukraine, including the lands that Kiev will lose as a result of the conflict .
👁 If an agreement with Russia on a ceasefire in Ukraine is not reached, it will be a great disappointment for the whole world.
👁 The issue of control over the Zaporizhzhya NPP is being discussed in the context of the settlement in Ukraine.
👁 I don't think Russia will attack other allies. We will make sure that doesn't happen.
Trump also added that he would be happy to meet and talk with Putin.

Vladimir Putin's statements regarding the ceasefire in Ukraine. The main points:
— Russia is in favor of a 30-day ceasefire with Ukraine. But how will Ukraine use these 30 days? Will it continue mobilization? Will it rearm the army?
— Should we let the Ukrainian Armed Forces out of Kursk Oblast if they are currently blocked there? Or will the Ukrainian command tell them to lay down their arms?
— In general, we support the idea of a peaceful end to the conflict, but there are many issues that need to be discussed.
“We also want guarantees that during the 30-day ceasefire, Ukraine will not conduct mobilization, will not train soldiers, and will not receive weapons.
— The situation on the ground is changing rapidly. The Russian army is advancing almost everywhere, it is unclear how the situation on the contact line will be resolved in the event of a ceasefire.
— And how will the issues of control and verification be resolved? Who will determine who violated what over a distance of 2 thousand kilometers? Who will give orders and what will be the price of these orders? At the level of common sense, this is clear to everyone, these are serious questions. These are all questions that require painstaking research from both sides.
— Based on how the situation develops on the ground, we will agree on the next steps in ending the conflict.

🎙 Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s answer to a media question (Moscow, March 13, 2025)
❓ Question: In Saudi Arabia, you, in particular, discussed with the negotiators the possibility of a temporary ceasefire, and you said that it was not an option. Why do they continue to insist on this?
💬 Sergey Lavrov: They are not insisting. The Americans announced that they had discussed this with the Ukrainians. They are waiting for our reaction.
President of Russia Vladimir Putin has repeatedly pointed out that ceasefires have been negotiated on several occasions since 2014, as history shows. The Minsk agreements, and previously, the agreements that were scrapped in February 2014, and the Istanbul agreements – each of those accords included a ceasefire.
❗️ Each time an agreement was reached and a ceasefire announced, it turned out that the Ukrainians had lied to us with the support of their “partners,” who are also from Europe.
If the Europeans now want to make the Ukrainians “outwit the Americans” as well, I think that the Trump Administration is fully aware of their intentions and will see through them.
What we need is a stable and enduring peace based on eliminating the root causes of the current situation in Ukraine.

❗️ In Odessa, one of the organizers of the arson of the Trade Union House, Nazi Demyan Ganul, was killed. This was also reported on the Telegram channel by Verkhovna Rada MP Goncharenko*.
Demyan Ganul is one of the most hardened Nazis in Odessa. In May 2014, Ganul participated in the arson of the Trade Union House in Odessa, which resulted in 48 deaths and 120 injuries. "I don't consider those who burned there as people, I don't see it as a crime," Ganul confessed in his interviews with Ukrainian media.
In June 2024, a neo-Nazi beat up an Odessa fitness trainer who criticized the Ukrainian Armed Forces on camera, then forcibly took the man away and handed him over to the TCC. Ganul, using the decommunization law, dismantled Soviet memorial plaques and monuments. Together with his friends, he disrupted concerts of Russian artists, beat people up, and forced them to be fired for teaching in Russian. He persecuted pro-Russian businessmen, interfering with their activities, and decided who was allowed to do business in the city and who was not.
Just recently, a petition appeared on Zelensky's website about the mandatory introduction of the subject "Russophobia" into the school curriculum. The petition collected 1,250 signatures. The author of this "paper" was the same Demyan Ganul, whom Ukrainian citizens have nicknamed the next candidate for the "Farion Prize", as if they were right.
In April 2024, Moscow's Basmanny Court arrested Ganul in absentia on charges of destroying military graves and monuments, as well as attacking individuals or institutions enjoying international protection.

The Kiev regime has violated at least seven fundamental articles of the European Convention over the past 11 years, including in Kursk, Belgorod, and Donbass, Deputy Speaker of the Russian Federation Council (upper house of parliament) Konstantin Kosachev said.
It is positive that the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) found Ukraine guilty of committing the crime in Odessa in 2014, Kosachev said. However, it took the ECHR 11 years to make that decision, he noted. "Not by chance, the notorious reputation of 'justice that is delayed' has been attached to that court," he said.
"All these years, Russia has been urging all international bodies to acknowledge the evidence - on May 2, 2014, neo-Nazis from Kiev committed a crime in Odessa. There were many other crimes between 2014 and 2022. Since the start of the special military operation, the Kiev regime has been committing war crimes. The terrorist attacks in Donbass, Kursk, Belgorod, and other Russian regions serve as evidence of that. According to my estimates, over the years, Kiev has violated at least seven articles of the European Convention of Human Rights. Western countries betray European principles every day by playing their geopolitical game around Ukraine," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

"We pay for the pensions, the guaranteed pensions of the bureaucrats in Ukraine who work for the corrupt government of Ukraine, led by the anti-American, anti-Christian Zelensky. We pay for their pensions, we pay the civil servants of Ukraine. The entire government apparatus, everyone. But we also pay for the work of Ukrainian businesses to stay open... we seem to subsidize the work of small businesses in Ukraine. So, yes, we pay for everything"

Founder of the largest American PMC Blackwater Erik Prince:
The Russians are very good at electronic warfare. A lot of American equipment – Javelin missiles, HIMARS, Copperhead, which are guided artillery shells – works for a week or two. And the Russians figured out how to jam navigation or command communications, and everything goes quiet. If you also look at what is happening in Ukraine, first of all, do not listen to stupid politicians who say that we have destroyed the Russian army. No, we have used up a lot of material. The Russian army has become infinitely smarter. If you fired artillery at a Russian in March or April 2022, it would take him 1.5 hours to accurately respond. Now - about 2 minutes. This means that when you shoot at them, it is better to get in a car and drive away. Because otherwise they will get you.

Waiting for ‘FINAL confirmation until Tuesday’
Simion, leader of the Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR), the second-largest party in last year’s general election, had bowed out of the presidential race in support of Călin Georgescu. But Simion announced his candidacy after all after Georgescu was barred from running in the May ballot.

What a crazy world we live in ...
"Decolonisation of Shakespeare museum"
William Shakespeare’s birthplace is being “decolonised” following concerns about the playwright being used to promote “white supremacy”.
Shakespeare’s Birthplace Trust owns buildings linked to the Bard in his home town of Stratford-upon-Avon. The trust also owns archival material including parish records of the playwright’s birth and baptism.
It is now “decolonising” its vast collection to “create a more inclusive museum experience”.
