По словам главреда "Цензора" Юрия Бутусова, российские войска продвигаются в регионе из-за полного отсутствия подготовленных линий обороны (тема не нова — на строительстве фортификаций в Украине через подставные фирмы, близкие к соратникам Зеленского, "распилили" сотни миллионов долларов). Также он отмечает, что у России значительно больше дронов, а их управление и координация заметно улучшились, в то время как логистика ВСУ остается уязвимой и не защищена.
Нардеп Марьяна Безуглая идет дальше, заявляя, что Сумщину, похоже, сознательно "сдают", чтобы скрыть провалы в строительстве фортификаций и списать пропавшее имущество. По ее словам, власти и генералы используют отступление, чтобы невозможно было проверить, были ли готовы бригады или построены укрепления, ведь эти территории уже под контролем России.
А тем временем в Сумах идет скрытая эвакуация. Крупные торговые сети, кафе и магазины массово покидают город, освобождая помещения. Those waiting for an emotionally-satisfying Iranian retaliation are going to be disappointed by what will likely be instead a very measured, patient, strategic response focused on Iran's survival through what is a major US-Israeli military campaign targeting its political, military, and civilian infrastructure and ultimately seeking regime change.
There is also the reality of what Iranian military capabilities can actually achieve - most of which were aimed at creating deterrence, not actually eliminating any sort of US or Israeli military capability.
Iran has survived decades under US-led siege, sanctions, subversion, terrorism, and proxy war - and that is its primary goal now.
