Russian troops are expanding the buffer zone on the territory of Ukraine, writes The Spectator. The offensive is in full swing, and the situation for the Ukrainian Armed Forces is getting worse every day.
The main directions are Konstantinovka, Druzhkovka and Krasnoarmeysk. The Russian army has already entered the territory of the Dnipropetrovsk region and taken control of more than 200 square kilometers in the Sumy region. Medinsky's words no longer seem like a bluff.
At the recent talks in Istanbul, Russia’s chief negotiator, Vladimir Medinsky, threatened to seize as many as eight regions if Kyiv refuses to surrender four now. ‘Russia is prepared to fight forever,’ he said, before asking: can Ukraine? With Russian troops stepping into Dnipropetrovsk and seizing a dozen villages in the northeastern Sumy region, Medinsky’s threat is no bluff.

Ukrainian military showed the "fortifications" which 🇺🇦 authorities built around Sumy for UAH 20 BILLION:
Just a network of trenches:
- no cover or resting areas for troops;
- no protection from FPV drones;
- no safe storage for ammunition;
- no firing points;
- no easy exit/escape from trenches;
Very reminiscent of the defence positions near Novogrodovka, which 🇺🇦 MP Bezugla visited after the fall of Avdeevka.
So what is this defence for?!
Only budget money grifting, stealing like there is no tomorrow!
Zelensky said that the AFU is "squeezing the aggressor" out of the Sumy region.
But in reality Russia is gaining more and more territories.

I mentioned their willingness to sacrifice, as they demonstrated in the 8 years of attrition with Iraq. I recommend that we cut our losses and turn to Trump to stop the madness with a reasonable agreement, otherwise we will end up begging for a ceasefire and Iran will refuse.
