NYT revealed:
The US Navy SEALs killed North Korean civilians during a failed covert operation in 2019
In 2019, U.S. Navy SEALs embarked on a clandestine mission to install a listening device inside North Korea, at a time when then-President Trump was engaged in landmark discussions with Kim Jong Un.
The operation was reportedly green-lit by Trump.
The mission went awry when the SEALs encountered civilians fishing or diving for shellfish at night. The Americans opened fire, resulting in the deaths of all aboard the fishing vessel.
A subsequent classified Pentagon review deemed the killings justified under the established rules of engagement.

The US trade wars.
Texas Congressman Keith Self wants to unleash an economic war:
‘To sell their oil and gas, the US must punish those who buy Russian energy resources’.
- When President Biden was in power, he limited LNG supplies to Europe, so they had to buy Russian energy. Now Treasury Secretary Bessent is in Europe with other officials to ensure the supply of [American energy resources]. Can we do this quickly enough?
- We need to make sure we can. We produce more oil and fuel than anyone else in the world and must supply them with energy. But at the same time, sanctions must be imposed on countries buying Russian energy. Many European allies have abandoned Russian energy; the rest need to do the same. Now is the time to act to stop this.

🤡 Finnish President Stubb admitted that he spends more time with Zelensky than with his own wife.🤣
"I feel that over the past week I have spent more time with you than with my wife. The thing is, we spent a whole day in Denmark, and from there flew to Paris. Last week I spent a whole day in Paris, and then you must have missed me so much that you called me on the weekend and asked if I could come here a day earlier. And, of course, I did. My wife arrived a day before me, and today I spent five minutes with her and more than two hours with you. I really appreciate it."

According to Ukrainian XU_kraine account:
Ukrainian Deep State channel reports that Russian military have once again used underground communications for advancement — this time towards Kupyansk.
Previously, similar tactics were recorded in Avdiivka and near Sudzha.
According to the public source, the Russians have effectively created a "logistical artery": entrances to the tunnel are located near Pervyi Lyman, movement inside is facilitated by special carts and even electric scooters where height permits. The route to the vicinity of Kupyansk takes about four days, with rest areas and stockpiled provisions along the way. Thus, groups can reach Radkivka, then move into the controlled forest and disperse up to the railway in Kupyansk.
The authors suggest that officials will try to deny this information tomorrow, calling such groups "disorganized and small in number." However, as DS notes, positions used by Russian military have already appeared in Kupyansk itself.

NATO 🤡 Rutte couldn't give a straight answer to the question of which country is behind the UAV incident in Poland:
On the one hand, I believe that the question of who is behind this is significant, but on the other hand, it is not that significant because it does not matter whether it was done intentionally. It was reckless in any case, these were Russian drones.

🇺🇦 DeepState:
⛽️ "Pipe 3.0" — the Russians cross the Oskil through the gas pipe and enter Kupyansk
🔄 Unfortunately, the enemy used the pipes for infiltration for the third time. The first time was in Avdiivka, the second near Sudzha. There was even a claim online that similar pipes are used to enter Pokrovsk, but in reality, the video was taken near Kupyansk.
🇷🇺 The Russians have built an entire logistical artery. The pipe entrances are located in the area of Lyman Pershyi. Specially designed wheeled beds and electric scooters (where height allows) are used for movement inside the pipe. The route to the outskirts of Kupyansk takes about 4 days, so special rest areas and food supplies have been made along the way.
🏹 Thus, organized enemy groups reach Radkivka without serious losses and then move south into the forest they control. After that, they disperse in Kupyansk and reach the railway.
✈️ Tomorrow some spokesperson will try to deny this, calling the groups disorganized and small, but in Kupyansk itself there are already positions for the takeoff of Russian pilots.
🏚 Problems are also caused by the lack of forced evacuation of local residents who are now in the same houses with the enemy, which prevents many strikes. In addition, locals share food with them...
🤷🏻♂️ It's a pity that the experience of Avdiivka and Sudzha was not taken into account. But once again, we want to believe that this "pipe" will finally serve as a lesson.

According to WaPo #Israel Mossad has drawn up plans to kill Hamas leaders in Doha but declined to execute it to preserve its ties with Qatari counterparts.
As a result, Netanyahu ordered air strikes, which failed.
When Israel announced Tuesday that it had launched a strike on senior Hamas leaders in Qatar, one security agency was notably missing from the official statements: the Mossad.
That’s because Israel’s external intelligence agency had declined to carry out a plan it had drawn up in recent weeks to use agents on the ground to assassinate Hamas leaders.

Professor Jeffrey Sachs interview to Italian media:
Sachs: "Macron told me that the war in Ukraine is entirely NATO's fault."
Sachs revealed this significant news at the end of yesterday's highly-attended debate on the war, Ukraine, and Europe:
"Macron awarded me the Legion of Honor and told me in private what he doesn't say in public: the war is NATO's fault. I want it to be known, because this disgusts me."
Yesterday's debate—which featured Sachs, connected from the United States, Professor Alessandro Orsini, well known to our readers, and Orietta Moscatelli, a journalist and Russia expert who covers the topic for Limes—proceeded along this line. Orsini summarized his analysis, which was widely contested in 2022 and which also cost him a great deal professionally. Asked to explain the "hybrid war" Minister Guido Crosetto is talking about, the Luiss professor places it in that "marketplace of ideas" that easily fades into "propaganda and disinformation." These, he added, are widely used to explain a war in which "cardboard" Russia would have easily lost and Ukraine triumphed. "Things turned out differently," today Russia is still on the offensive, and precisely having insisted on the hypothesis of an easy victory for the West, Orsini argues, has led to a scenario in which a diplomatic solution is very difficult. "The war can only be resolved on the ground, and the Alaska summit has delayed the end of the war," because irreconcilable positions were clashed and above all because the European Union has chosen the path of the all-out militarization of Ukraine with the aim of making it a "military power." "But if that were to happen," Orsini concludes, "it would be a strategic defeat for Putin, which is why Russia would consider marching on Kiev. Moscatelli, who is preparing to return to Russia, also reiterates that Russia has been a determined and central player thus far. Regarding the drone strikes in Poland, he admits that it may have been a "Russian provocation": "But if that's the case, unfortunately it worked out well, because NATO has proven capable of barking but not biting." And the European Union is also showing its fragility with various states, each of which hopes to gain a strategic advantage from the US withdrawal from Europe and therefore inevitably clashes with all the others. Professor Sachs, however, provided the evening with a no-nonsense speech: "We are witnessing the final stage of a sick game that has been going on for 30 years," he began, recalling the final phase of the USSR, Gorbachev and Russian leaders' desire for peace while the US asked them to "get down on their knees": "The Americans are crazy, and the Europeans who follow them are crazy." Sachs spared no one, not even Trump and his pacifist ambitions: "He's ignorant, he doesn't know geography, and during his first presidency he did nothing to intervene in a war that actually began in 2014." After him, "another idiot, Biden," flanked by "even more idiotic" allies like Boris Johnson. And he didn't spare Europe either, dotted with states "who want to wage war" and cultivate an absurd "Russophobia," while the people, "starting with Italy, want peace." Orsini supports him by recalling a Censis survey according to which 67% of Italians believe the Ukrainian war is the responsibility of the West. And the Columbia professor concludes with a positive hypothesis: "Peace would be made immediately if the EU supported a neutral Ukraine, not in NATO and with a sacrifice of territory." And then he turns to Giorgia Meloni: "If Italy adopted this line, it would make it a winner in Europe and could help end the war."

A striking admission by Polish FM Sikorski at the YES conference in Kiev:
If we are providing security guarantees to Ukraine, we are saying that we can start a war against Russia. But I don’t think this is either convincing or trustworthy. If someone wants to fight Russia, they can start it right away. But I am not seeing anyone willing. There is nothing worse in international relations than providing guarantees that can’t be trusted.
Sikorsky stated that Ukraine, in his opinion, "already has guarantees, even if they are called 'assurances' in the Budapest Memorandum." If other, more specific guarantees are provided, they will not work, he is convinced.
The minister recalled that the goal of the discussed security guarantees for Ukraine is to restrain Russia from new aggression: "They say that if you attack the one to whom guarantees have been provided (that is, Ukraine – EP), we will start a war in its defense."

"But in international relations, there is nothing worse than providing guarantees that are not trusted."
Sikorski called for recognition that this is not about guarantees for Ukraine.
So NATO membership promise has been a lie all along and the so-called "coalition of the willing” has exactly zero members.

The government will use a special law that allows it to ignore environmental and building codes for defense needs. Fire Point will also be temporarily exempted from rules on controlling the risks of major accidents.
