Gas reserves in Ukrainian underground gas storage facilities are 39.2 percent less than last year.
Almost all of the gas pumped there in summer in preparation for winter has been withdrawn from Ukrainian underground storage facilities. This was reported by Gazprom with reference to Gas Infrastructure Europe in its Telegram channel.
"According to Gas Infrastructure Europe, as of December 13, the volume of active gas in European underground storage facilities is 24.5 percent (19.9 billion cubic meters) less than last year's level," says Gazprom.
The company added that fuel reserves in Ukrainian underground storage facilities dropped to 15.34 billion cubic meters, which is 39.2 percent less than last year, or 9.9 billion cubic meters.
“Thus, almost all of the gas pumped in during preparation for winter has already been raised from the storage facilities of Ukraine,” emphasized Gazprom.
