Apparently Google releasing a new L1 blockchain
— With python-based smart contracts
= Exactly one of the core tech promises Vitalik and Ethereum made during their 2014 ICO,
and then totally and intentionally broke that promise for no reason,
which is one of the many reasons people rightfully hate Vitalik & Ethereum today
Could be interesting
“But python is ….”
No, it’s
(1) vastly easier to secure than solidity, or C, or even rust, and
(2) generally vastly easier to verify as secure, and
(3) vastly faster when used like in the way that AI has used it for programming GPUs for the past 15 years
= there was never a reason not to follow through on doing this, and doing it right, and the Ethereum commies should feel ashamed of never doing hardly anything to follow through on this #1 top promise they had made from day 1
