What we saw in the Qatar spectacle this weekend was a massive disconnect between the ruling class elites -- who lavish praise on the terror monarchy, and in return are lavished with money and luxury -- and the American people. AFFORDABILITY IS ACTUALLY PRESIDENT TRUMP'S STRONG ISSUE

The Democrats and their media think they've found a word and an issue in "affordability".  We can already see some Republicans and even conservative commentators getting weak legs over it. That's par for the course. To be clear, I believe the mid-term elections will come down to, among other things, the economy and the Woke Reich so-called influencers, the latter of whom are turning off a lot of conservatives/MAGA/Trump supporters who might stay home or even vote Democrat.  This cannot be ignored by the GOP and its leaders as the consequences will be dire for the party and the country.  But in this post, I want to briefly address the former issue -- the economy.

As a reminder, in August of 1981, President Reagan and the congressional Republicans passed a historic growth program, which included record tax cuts.  The Democrats and their media derided it as "Reaganomics" and tax cuts for the rich, etc., the same tactics they're using against President Trump and his Big-Beautiful-Bill (BBB). It took about 14-months for Reagan's program to kick in, after which the economy took off like a rocket.  There was an economic boom with growth we'd not seen in modern times -- incredible job and small business creation, unprecedented investment in capital and R&D, corporate expansion, etc.  The Democrats, media, and other critics were dead wrong. Reagan used to say to the naysayers, "stay the course," and he was right.  Even more, President Trump has used his executive authority to slash regulations and the bureaucracy like no president in history, and in ways that truly matter.  He is literally looking at every sector of our economy and instituting pro-growth policies on a daily basis.  We've never seen anything like it.  

The Trump economy is already strong and certainly compared to the Biden disaster the president inherited.  He has already driven inflation way down. Middle class incomes are up.  Gasoline prices have dropped significantly.  President Trump's tariffs have resulted in an extraordinary influx of money into our country, funding further economic growth and rebuilding numerous industries. And this is occurring even before the BBB actually kicks in, which will take about another two- to -three quarters to be fully realized, like Reagan's economic boom.  And remember, President Trump knows what he's doing.  During his first term, the president turned the Obama economy around from a fairly flat or worse economy to an economic juggernaut, which Biden and the Democrats quickly gutted with job-business-economy killing and out-of-control taxes, regulations, and debt, topped off by over 9 percent inflation!  Funny, the Democrats didn't care about affordability then.

For those who say President Trump needs to prioritize the economy, or that he needs to stop downplaying what the American people are feeling, I say -- what are you talking about?  His entire focus has been on peace and prosperity -- that is, peace abroad and prosperity at home. He has spent more time rebuilding our economy, negotiating trade deals, eliminating regulations, cutting taxes, and all the other factors involved in creating economic growth and domestic prosperity than any president I can remember.  It's not even close. And it's not only paying off in the present, but it will also pay incredible dividends in the not-too-distant future.  Of course, there will be some valleys and bumps in the road.  Polls will move up and down. Just stay the course!  

It's also important to recall that when Bill Clinton ran for president the first time, he and his sycophantic media succeeded in persuading the public that the country was in a recession when, in fact, it was not. They relentlessly preached doom and gloom.  But President Bush-41 and his campaign team ignored it for too long. By the time they acted, it was too late.  The Democrat Party and its media are at it again -- trying to paint a very negative picture of the economy.

If you really listen to Qatarlson and his ilk, they are constantly trashing America, our political system, our economic system, our culture, the people, etc.  They tell us how wonderful the terror-supporting monarchy in Qatar is, the mass-murderer Putin is, the "death to America" Islamist regime in Iran is, and on and on.  They trash Christians and Jews, the Bible, pastors -- and they smear Trump to each other and trash the GOP.  They insist they are smart and wise and everyone else is dumb or, worse, evil.  And, of course, they are conspiracy nuts -- they invent them and spread them.  Then, when exposed, they say, "we're Americans, we have free speech rights ..."  They truly are degenerate psycho-narcissists.
