Market update

Market conditions are weak right now. Not touching majors and definitely not trading low-cap volatility.

Over the past week, I’ve been spending time on Polymarket, and the platform is genuinely interesting. Some of the markets there create very asymmetric setups.

One example I’m playing:

“What will happen before GTA VI?”

I took the “NO” side on:
BTC hitting $1,000,000 before GTA VI releases
Current odds are roughly 2x (risk 1 to win 1).

Example scenario (purely theoretical):

Buy $1,000 worth of BTC at current market price

At the same time, place $10,000 on “NO” (BTC does not hit $1M before GTA VI)

Outcomes:

If BTC does not reach $1M → the “NO” bet settles and returns ~$20,000

If BTC somehow reaches $1M → BTC position massively outperforms the hedge

Either way, the payoff structure is extremely asymmetric relative to probability.

Another position:

Jesus returning before GTA VI — also priced near 2x odds

If these markets resolve exactly as written, the probability distribution vs. pricing looks heavily misaligned.

I’ve only been using Polymarket for about a week, but some of these setups are hard to ignore.
