🇺🇸💬🇪🇺 The European Union will not allow the U.S. to invade Greenland, said French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot.

"Obviously, there is no doubt that the European Union will not allow any other countries to attack its sovereign borders, no matter who they are. We are a strong continent," the minister said, commenting on Trump's statements, as reported by Reuters.

He stated that the EU must "wake up and strengthen itself."

"If you ask me whether I think the United States will invade Greenland, my answer is no. But have we entered a period where only the strongest survive? Then my answer is yes," Barrot said.
