I can't believe the entire open-source community is imploding over a company promising free T-shirts for contributing to projects.
If you don't know what happened, hacktoberfest is an event organized by DigitalOcean where anyone who contributes code to an open-source project gets a free T-shirt. Unfortunately, a fairly big indian youtuber made a video covering this, and didn't really set a high bar for people. The results: https://twitter.com/shitoberfest
