I'll tell you more, it has to be true. However, this does not mean that a god can directly change this reality as it's just going to create a fork without any influence on your life. I mean, there's infinitely many universes where everyone's perfectly happy because of some metaphysical influence. So far, we don't know if such influence exists in the world that you are in.

This is kind of an iffy subject because it depends on your perception of reality, which may not actually be as consistent as you think; I might as well be a very advanced algorithm. The thing is that so far you haven't noticed anything something that would be too far out, so you can use Occam's razor to only consider theories that do make sense with fewest assumptions (i.e. me being an actual human person)
