MicroBitcoin is Launching New Network

MBCians, we are firing up engines! New network launching is set to happen at 1,137,200th block which is estimated to occur on October 9, 2019, at 11:00 UTC.

[Key Features of New Network]
-MBCs (MicroBitcoin) which haven't been moved since hardfork will be burned. (There is approximately 2,700,000 BTC activated so far from the 525,001 block)
-Locking up the 50% of the premined contributors' MicroBitcoin. (Almost 5,000,000,000 MBC will be technically locked up until 2021.)
-Maximum Supply will be almost 61,000,000,000 MBC. It will be different according to the snapshot amount.
-Reward for first block of new network will be changed from 12,500 MBC to 5,500 MBC. And reward for each new block will be calculated using the function in the document below.
-To make network more reliable, prevent block spamming and create better fee market, block size will be decreased to 300kb.
-New PoW lgorithm - modified YesPower (sha256 replaced with blake2b)

Hello everyone. After investigation we discovered that some addresses during snapshot don't received full amount from old network because of snapshot tool bug.

231 address haven't received it funds and 147 received less than they had before snapshot. In total 62,416,016.3538 MBC will be covered from development fund this Friday November 29.

Hello everyone, our web wallet received major update v0.4. Now it works much faster then before. We also added settings screen with language select option. MicroBitcoin 3.0

Hello everyone. New release of MicroBitcoin v3.0 has been published. It is based on latest Bitcoin v22.0 with improvements to sync speed, connectivity, initial snapshot load and most importantly contains soft fork activation for taproot. Update is not mandatory but highly recommended.

This release is first step in refreshing network in a while. Next on the list is ApiServer rewrite, upgraded explorer/web wallet and new mobile wallet which will be released for Android and iOS (finally). Thanks for your patience, stay tuned!

We have inspected the silver inventory and vaults of Daesung Metal Co., one of South Korea’s top three companies specializing in physical silver storage, and have signed a strategic partnership agreement for BitSilver. A press release will be distributed soon.

For your reference, Daesung Metal Co., Ltd. achieved sales of approximately $230 million in 2023 and focuses on the production of silver-related products.
