Microrack offline event at Tbilisi!
Synth Probe + MICRORACK Demo
The Synth Probe is similar to an exhibition. It's an event where some people share, and others try things out. They try listening and they try playing!
The upcoming Synth Probe will be electronic, so we invite you to bring your electronic instruments, both commercial and homemade. Additionally, the MICRORACK team will showcase their unique synthesizer, talk about the project's history, and conduct a small demo. Guests and participants will benefit from bringing headphones to try out different instruments by ear.
As part of the electronic Synth Probe, a jam session is planned — several short background sets of 15-20 minutes each with breaks in between.
No more than two people can play at the same time, and the total number of spots is limited. You can sign up for the jam session here

The last issue was fixed! We start to prepare all the PCBs for DFM now.
I’ve finished counter schematic!
There are two pair of pins to chain counters: reset and clock. When load is connected to reset out it disables internal reset, also master reset pulse follows through all chain backwards now.

* Compressor, EQ and Saturator modules with Zvukofor Sound Labs
* Vactrol Low Pass Gate module designed by a talented Buchla world engineer
Production Progress
* Ordered pre-release prototypes
* Setting up test-sample orders with two carefully selected Chinese manufacturers
Manufacturing and shipping planned to begin right after Chinese New Year.
Coming late January
* Updated module denoscriptions coming to our forum
* Backers only shop launch with fulfillment system for your Kickstarter orders
So, later in January we will collect your shipping details and payments for delivery to your destination and in February we start manufacturing and sending your synths!

We're testing our pre-release modules and thrilled with the initial results!
The input module allows connection of external audio signals, microphones, etc. The output module enables connecting MICRORACK to any sound source, such as headphones or sound systems using 3.5mm or 6.3mm jacks.
By connecting the input and output modules, we measured the following performance characteristics across the 10Hz-20kHz range:
Frequency Response: 2 dB gain irregularity
Dynamic Range: 90 dB
Total Harmonic Distortion (THD): 0.1%
Starting at just $119, MICRORACK offers high-quality audio performance typically found in more expensive systems.
These results are especially noteworthy for a compact modular system like MICRORACK. We're inspired and will continue our testing!

April pushed us to our limits!
We received module samples and some extra components from two selected factories, and the quality looks good.
We’ve also finalized the design of our product packaging. The boxes are looking great while keeping everything safe and organized.
VCO Module – Now Even Better! We’ve put a lot of love into refining our VCO module. The results feel like magic, this module sounds amazing – we’re excited for you to try it!
Well, almost! We'll be taking just a brief pause before traveling to China later this May to kick off full production run. We will be on-site to catch any issues and make sure the quality is satisfying.
We also invested time in speeding up our testing process. We built a custom testing stand for MICRORACK modules that has reduced the time it takes to verify each unit.
Because of your support MICRORACK is now a final product. We are incredibly proud of the result, and we can’t wait for you to experience it firsthand. Stay tuned!
