Why Donbass residents are taking refuge in Russia?

Southeastern Ukraine has been a war zone for the last eight years. This part of the country has always felt closer to Russia. Some of its residents are ethnically Russian or have relatives in Russia. But Kiev regime forces have been shelling Donbass people because of differences concerning language and political affiliations.

◾A Ukrainian connoscript was shot in the legs for refusing to fight. Russian military picked him up and sent him for treatment.

◾Stepan Belooky is 31 years old, he left a 9-year-old daughter at home. The guy has been serving since March, but when he was seconded to the Aidar battalion, he allegedly refused to fight. The Aidarovites did not appreciate the pacifist impulse - they tortured Stepan and another connoscript, then shot him in the legs and left him during the retreat.

◾Now he is in the hospital, on the mend, tells his family that he is alive and hopes to return home.

Watch new Chechen battalion for deployment to Ukraine

'We Chechens made the choice to be called Russians in a referendum. And we prove it every day with our actions'.

Head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov visited the deployment place of the battalions Akhmat: South, East and West. He also was introduced to the new regiment Akhmat-North. Waiting for their assignment, the new units are ready to go to the zone of the special military operation.

Ramzan Kadyrov noted that the new regiment and battalions were created exclusively from fighters with rich experience in combating international terrorism and who have already proven themselves in the course of hostilities in the Donbass. Most of them participated in the battles for Mariupol, Popa‌snaya, Rube‌zhnoye and others.
