Deer on the Kola Peninsula beyond the Arctic Circle. Sensing an impending threat, the reindeer swirl. Thus they interfere with targeting/attacking, and protecting pregnant females or the youngest members of the herd in the middle.

An ant mill is an observed phenomenon in which a group of army ants are separated from the main foraging party, lose the pheromone track and begin to follow one another, forming a continuously rotating circle, commonly known as a “death spiral” because the ants might eventually die of exhaustion.

Death comes for us all. We are all born to die. That is part of life. Like leaves on a tree leaves die only for new ones to be born. From the smallest animal microorganisms to the biggest animal blue whales. From kings, queens, our blood lines to empires death is inevitable all must experience time itself and return to earth as dust. There's a legend that an elephant knows when it is their time traveling a hundred miles to reach a unknown place called the elephant's graveyard. If the legend is true then even they know that death is part of life.

Bald eagle killed another bald eagle. Probably over a mate, as a third eagle flew overhead at the time of this video. This occurred in Rotonda West, Florida.
