French artist, woodcarver, engraver, draftsman-ornamentalist, gilder, the largest master furniture maker of his era, creator of a special technique and style of artistic furniture, called by his name - "technique Boule", "style Boule". For the refinement of style and technique, the master was called the "jeweler of furniture."
