When you already destroyed the Christmas tree and now you go all over Santa's village

The Evergreen Tree

O', how the evergreen tree stands so tall,
It stands firm through even the harshest cold,
Unlike the proud oak, its leaves never fall,
It juts up defiantly, sharp and bold.

Old man winter comes and fills all with fear,
Skeletons remain of what were grand trees,
But if past the graveyard of plants you peer,
The pines still stand with their needle-like leaves.

I wish to be as the evergreen tree,
To be unwavering in my battle,
That the blizzards of life should not kill glee,
That my constitution be not rattled.

I gaze at the pine as I walk life's trail,
With the tree's resolve I shall never fail.
