Freilassing - With his visions he was known throughout Bavaria, politicians and aristocrats sought his advice. It has been 50 years since Alois Irlmaier died, the seer of Freilassing .

On his deathbed, he is said to have said: "I am glad that the Lord God let me die. Now I no longer need to experience what I foresee." It was uncanny: war, weather disasters ... But Irlmaier helped with his talent especially the little people and was a simple well digger. The tz tells his story.

He often turned away: "Dua's weg, des Buidl, i ko's nimmer sehng! The poor man!" More and more people turned to Irlmaier, he even helped to solve murder cases. Once a man died, he was buried, there was no doubt about a natural death. Irlmaier, however, demanded that the body be exhumed.
