In another murder case, the body had disappeared. Irlmaier described to investigators exactly where it was buried: "There he lies with the silver plate in his stomach." The dead man was found - indeed, he was wearing a silver plate in his stomach. Even General Clay, head of the US occupation zone in Germany, is said to have sought advice from Irlmaier - and even Konrad Adenauer! The Freilassinger constable is said to have been quite shocked by this: "What else do we have to reckon with when even the chancellor visits the mad dog?"

Almost unbelievable, however, is the fact that Irlmaier's seer-like abilities were even confirmed in court! In 1947 he had to answer before the district court Laufen because of "Gaukelei". Irlmaier said to the judge: "Your wife is just at home. She is wearing a red dress, and a gentleman is with her. Let's see if it's true." It was true! Literally, the verdict then read: "The questioning of the witnesses has produced such astounding testimony about the vision of the defendant that he cannot be called a juggler."

Many still remember Irlmaier today, including a Wasserburger (74) who met him in 1958. "We were looking for a water source at our farm." One day Irlmaier was standing in the yard. It took less than ten minutes, and he had already found a spring! However, it was on the neighbor's land. "He'll never sell it," they said. But Irlmaier knew what to do. "Invite him and let him sit in the corner in the Herrgottswinkl. There are earth rays there, he'll sign anything there." And so it was. Over the years, Irlmaier grew tired of his gift. "Am only to speak in matters of well seeking," he wrote on a sign. But people continued to tell his visions - and still talk about them today.
