Fun fact: When I was in the Navy and in Brisbane's koala and kangaroo petting zoo. You think koalas are cute and cuddly? Heck no they're jerks. They'll bite your face off.

The koala or, inaccurately, koala bear is an arboreal herbivorous marsupial native to Australia. It is the only extant representative of the family Phascolarctidae and its closest living relatives are the wombats. Wikipedia

Species: P. cinereus

Lifespan: 13 – 18 years (In the wild)

Family: Phascolarctidae

Class: Mammalia

Order: Diprotodontia

Height: 2 to 3 feet pbs.org

Genus: Phascolarctos

Do koalas like humans: Koalas are highly territorial animals. So invading these territories of koalas can turn them aggressive easily as they feel threatened. So one reason Koalas turn aggressive is when they feel humans – or any other animal is invading their established territory or habitat.
