Parte da questa convinzione il progetto rivoluzionario messo in piedi a Pistoia dall’Istituto Professionale De Franceschi Pacinotti, dove gli alunni sospesi per bullismo e maleducazione, anziché restare a casa per una settimana, scontano la ‘pena’ andando ad assistere i disabili della Fondazione Maic, una struttura semiresidenziale per disabili anche gravissimi. In questo modo i giovani studenti si riscoprono importanti, prendono coscienza di se stessi attraverso la relazione con la persona disabile, si sentono valorizzati, amati, scoprono le loro potenzialità.
