Anche se credo che potrei non uscirne vivo (ve li immaginate tre giorni di talk sui plugin di Vim? Ci voleva David Foster Wallace per raccontarla)

Lettura per la domenica: Oliviero Ponte Di Pino racconta la storia moderna dell'editoria e un pezzetto del futuro. Triste.

Il prodotto fisico è quasi rimosso dall'orizzonte di chi in sostanza gestisce e media flussi di informazioni. È un andirivieni di file con allegati."

Uno diviso zero quanto fa? Non c'è solo la teoria matematica che può rispondere a questa domanda, ma anche l'informatica. Perché i linguaggi di programmazione devono fare delle assunzioni. In questo caso, che uno fratto zero faccia zero (1/0 = 0). Segue piacevole discussione.

Per quanto il mio corpo sia immacolato (e resterà tale) sono affascinato dai tatuaggi, oggi forma di espressione e ancor più di abellimento del corpo direi imperante. L'università ha fame di sistemi scalabili per la gestione e diffusione dei dati. Ed ecco che arriva la soluzione: Academic Torrents. Usare BitTorrent per condividere i file in maniera distribuita e sicura. Stiamo parlando finora di 27.31 Terabyte di dati sulla rete P2P "pulita" (niente pirateria) del servizio.
