Buone notizie per la lotta alla obsolescenza programmata! Grazie ad una direttiva europea, a partire da marzo 2021 i pezzi di ricambio per aggiustare un elettrodomestico messo in commercio dovranno essere reperibili per almeno sette anni (con alcune parti di frigoriferi, lavastoviglie e lavatrici estese a 10 anni minimo) dalla data d’acquisto e in generale fino allo stesso numero di anni dopo la fine della produzione di quel modello. La direttiva non vale per gli smartphone, mentre sono inclusi lavatrici, frigoriferi, lavastoviglie, televisori e display, server (aggiornabili per almeno 8 anni). I pezzi di ricambio dovranno essere reperibili in massimo 15 giorni dal momento in cui vengono richiesti dal riparatore. E poi, sempre dal 2021, sarà vietato immettere in commercio elettrodomestici energivori e i produttori avranno l’obbligo di costruirli seguendo un design che li renda facili da smontare.
