Sono da sempre affascinato dalle stampe, e non solo quelle giapponesi dellì'ukyo-e. Anche le stampe di Piranesi, con incisioni meravigliose. E tutt'altro che ingenue o "semplici", perché per rappresentare il mondo occorre sempre qualche trucco magari nella costruzione della prospettiva.

A me queste riflessioni para-filosofiche per il mondo del self-help mi fanno sempre divertire molto.

La "stamina", che poi sarebbe la resistenza fisica, diventa perseveranza per uno di quei giochi magici e manipolativi di scivolamento del significato che sono possibili laddove la lingua te lo consente. Qui l'inglese sembra permetterlo, ma in italiano non sarebbe possibile e tantomeno in altre lingue come cinese o giapponese, per dire. Ma noi siamo bravi a prendere le cose da fuori e trasformarle: "stamina" diventa così una parola con almeno quattro significati se non sei: resistenza fisica, ma anche perserveranza, tempra e resilienza, più ci sono quelli che ci vedono anche la fermezza e, perché no, la forza pura e semplice. Questo 25 aprile è particolare, perché segna anche l'ottantesimo anniversario della Liberazione dai nazi-fascisti. Una lotta che ha coinvolto anche donne e bambini.
