“Quiet the mind and the soul will speak”

Ik kwam wat aantekeningen van mezelf tegen van een paar jaar geleden, ik kon me niet herinneren dat ik het had geschreven maar blijkbaar had ik een Q&A met mezelf gedaan die ik ‘Soul Talk’ noemde.
Ik vond het wederom een goed idee (ken je dat, dat je leven zo vol en rijk is dat je sommige ervaringen vergeet?😅) en besloot er een gewoonte van te maken. Het bevalt verrassend goed, die gesprekken met mezelf.!

Er zijn twee manieren van in gesprek gaan met jezelf in mijn beleving. De ene is nadenken, analyseren, jezelf dingen afvragen en dan ‘bomen’ over de antwoorden. Alleen helpend bij praktische zaken en bij het invullen van de Demartini methode m.i.

Soul talk is een andere manier, waarbij je eerst stopt met nadenken, je gedachten los laat net als wanneer je gaat sporten of mediteren, en zo ruimte maakt, ontvankelijk wordt voor je eigen goede antwoorden. Die vallen dan gewoon binnen.

Aanvankelijk kwamen er alleen wat woorden op, maar nu ik dit dagelijks doe komen er hele zinnen op papier na het stellen van mijn vraag.

Ter voorbeeld wat goed advies aan mezelf:

R = Romy
Z = Ziel

R: Wat kan ik doen mbt sadness?

Z: Don’t fight reality. Samen vallen met wat is lukt heel goed als dat wat er gebeurt nog een beetje in je straatje past. Maar als er (groter) verschil ontstaat tussen de situatie zoals hij is en zoals hij volgens ons zou moeten zijn, we go to war with ourselves. Dat is wat depressie is. Oorlog met jezelf.
De focus mag deze dagen liggen op de vrede, intern, in je eigen hart.

R: Hoe kan ik dat nog makkelijker maken, die vrede bereiken en bewaken?

Z: Adem dieper, voel dieper. Er is een punt waarop je steeds afleiding zoekt in je gedachten of in je telefoon. Dat zorgt dat je stagneert, en dat de weerstand blijft. Just breathing and feeling, allowing, leidt je voorbij de weerstand die je in je middenrif/solar plexus kan voelen.
Voorbij de weerstand kan je fysiek samen vallen met wat is ipv alleen rationeel die wens hebben en weten dat dat beter is.

Ik groeide op in Lunteren, waar ook mijn moeder en grootouders opgroeiden. Mijn oma en opa waren van de ‘zwartekousenkerk’. Mijn moeder mocht heel veel niet, zoals haar haar afknippen. Dat deed ze stiekem, en liep maanden met haar vlecht op een speld gemonteerd zodat haar ouders niks door hadden. Als ik een broek aan had, make-up op deed, televisie keek of al die andere dingen die God in hun beleving verboden had dan ging ze voor me bidden, mijn oma.
Zo lief was ze, maar ze ging gebukt onder het geloof. Tot ze dementeerde en al die zwaarte weg viel. Wat over bleef was haar pure eigenheid; vrolijk, zacht en lief.

Ondanks (of wellicht dankzij) mijn Christelijke afkomst, zowel thuis als op school, zette ik al vrij snel vraagtekens bij het geloof zoals mij dat van jongs af aan aangeboden werd. Sindsdien is het leven voor mij wat dat betreft een mooie zoektocht geworden naar wie God is. Wie Jezus was. Ik leerde er lessen over tijdens mijn vele reizen, via de vele boeken die ik las, via mijn werk en steeds meer ook via every day life. Immers als God omnipresent en omnipotent is, waar is God dan niet?

Ik stapte niet alleen weg van georganiseerde religie, maar ging ook de Bijbel anders zien. Ik werd me er bewust van dat de Bijbel ‘vervuild’ is door machthebbers van weleer. Censuur is van alle tijden. Als je ontdekt dat maar 15% van de historische bronnen omtrent het leven van Jezus bewaard zijn gebleven dan weet je zeker dat je heel veel (nog) niet weet. Tel daarbij op dat we ook heel veel weten wat niet waar is.

Gelukkig zijn er meerdere wegen naar Rome, of naar Jezus in dit geval. Recent kwam er een boek op mijn pad dat zoveel inzicht geeft en vele vermoedens bevestigt. Met dit boek wordt het werkelijke verhaal van Jezus en Maria Magdalena helder. Er wordt een brug geslagen tussen esoterie en wetenschap, én van toen naar de huidige tijd. Ik kan het je van harte aanraden!

Even if your puny little ego wants to contest the enormity of your soul, the smaller self can never for long subordinate the larger Self. In matters of death and rebirth, you have surpassed the benchmarks many times. Believe the evidence of any one of your past testings and trials.
