I've just seen Hamnet at the cinema and I think it might be the most feminine film of all time.
Arguably the greatest Briton is a mere sideshow in this film by women, for women.
Shakespeare's wife is essentially a pagan witch who loves his romantic storytelling, is joyful in his loving fatherhood and supports his independence from his father.
But she reneges on her plans to move with him, furiously resents his career away from home and blames him for the death of their son.
She forgives him years later only when he shares his grief through public drama, where he is finally named as "Will".
It's the fullest expression of the female emotional world I've seen on screen.
The director Chloe Zhao's previous film is Marvel slop where the White hero falls for an Asian girl (like her).
It might win Best Picture for its originality, as the Jews distance themselves from the Antifa politics of the favourite.
After years of contrived feminist slop, they may've found a formula that works commercially.

Bridget Bardot, French hottie, has died aged 91.
In a 2006 letter to then-Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy (later published), she stated she was "fed up with being under the thumb of this population which is destroying us, destroying our country and imposing its habits," referring to Muslims.
Her book “Un cri dans le silence” attacked racial mixing, immigration, the role of women in politics, and Islam, praising past generations for resisting "invaders." This led to her fourth conviction for inciting racial hatred in June 2004, with a €5,000 fine. She denied intent to harm but was convicted nonetheless.
She’s also done more than that.
RIP.
