Facebook Suspends Palestinian News Page Following al-Aqsa Raid Coverage

Facebook suspended the page of a Palestinian news site following its rolling coverage of the violent Israeli raid on al-Aqsa Mosque on Friday (April 15), when two of its reporters were wounded.

The Al-Qastal news site said on Saturday that Facebook had deleted its page without warning or explanation, causing it to lose thousands of followers.

"Without any introductions or advance warning, Al-Qastal page (in Arabic) on Facebook was, suddenly, deleted due to its extensive coverage of events of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque, despite the strict adherence to Facebook publishing standards," Al-Qastal said in a statement.

It remains unclear why Facebook suspended Al-Qastal's Arabic news page. The bilingual Jerusalem-based outlet accused the social media platform of yielding to pressure from Israeli authorities who aim to "silence the voices of Jerusalemites," according to its statement.

More than 150 people were wounded and at least 400 arrested by Israeli forces who attacked worshippers inside the mosque in a four-hour raid.

Mexico Plans COVID-19 Vaccinations for More Children, Urges Global Health Authorities to Deliver COVAX Doses

🇲🇽💉@COVID19Up: Mexico will vaccinate more children against COVID-19, President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador announced on Wednesday (April 13), urging global health authorities to deliver the doses it had already ordered.

Mexico last year began inoculating some at-risk children, and children with disabilities, but has so far held back from rolling out a broader COVID-19 vaccination program for minors. Lopez Obrador said he was awaiting doses under the COVAX program, run by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI).

"We want what they owe us, because we paid in advance," Lopez Obrador said. "For them to deliver vaccines for kids, (so we can) start vaccinating children with the right vaccines."

"Children without any kind of illness will also be vaccinated, in accordance with WHO protocol," he added.

Wow, this is more insanity coming out of Houston. Only 1 City Council Member voted against it!

"Owners of these establishments must install (on their own dime) surveillance cameras in outdoor areas "providing video coverage from the exterior of the building to the property line." Businesses must keep these cameras running 24 hours a day, and store camera footage for at least 30 days.

If surveillance footage is requested by the Houston Police Department, businesses must turn it over within 72 hours. Failure to comply would mean fines of $500 per day.

The Houston City Council approved this privacy-killing measure on Wednesday by a vote of 15–1."

I was doing some more research on the new steps taken by Houston City Council and its part of a plan the city announced in Feb, called "OneSafe Houston". It includes a recommendation to install more cameras around city businesses as just announced. My suspicion is that the document shows the city's planned next steps.

2. Leverage and expand gunshot detection technology for a more rapid response to gun crime related incidents thereby enhancing investigative leads and the possibility of quickly apprehending violent offenders in the commission of crimes involving firearms.

3. Increase community partnerships to leverage available real time video through programs such as Community Connect, Ring, Nest and other video security platforms.

El Salvador's Bitcoin Usage Has Not Taken Off

A recent survey from the National Bureau of Economic Research (American non-profit) has shown a lack of Bitcoin adoption on the government's platform Chivo wallet.

1,800 households were interviewed, just over half of all respondents had installed the app, only 20% of respondents continued to use it after they received the $30 reward for setting it up.

My Analysis
Cryptocurrency cannot be strong-armed onto the public, especially a state-sponsored platform, even with incentives like BTC/dollar feeless conversion. El Salvador's implementation of this solution has failed for several reasons:

- People don't trust the government
- The wallet is custodial, users aren't actually in control of their funds
- The wallet is KYC
- The wallet already has had claims of unauthorized charges, blocked accounts, phishing, identity theft

From the study:

"The most important reason not to download the app, conditional on knowing about it, is that users prefer to use cash, which was followed by trust issues—respondents did not trust the system or
bitcoin itself"

CDC Tracked Millions of Phones to See If Americans Complied With COVID-19 Lockdown Orders, Documents Reveal

🇺🇸@COVID19Up: The CDC bought access to location data harvested from tens of millions of phones in the U.S. to perform analysis of compliance with curfews and other patterns, according to CDC documents obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request.

The documents reveal the expansive plan the CDC had to use location data from a highly controversial data broker. SafeGraph, the company the CDC paid $420,000 for access to one year of data to, includes Peter Thiel and the former head of Saudi intelligence among its investors. Google banned the company from the Play Store in June.

The CDC used the data for monitoring curfews, with the documents saying that SafeGraph’s data “has been critical for ongoing response efforts, such as hourly monitoring of activity in curfew zones or detailed counts of visits to participating pharmacies for vaccine monitoring.”

The point of my 2020 book How To Opt Out of the Technocratic State can be summed up simply:

The current decade has been called "The Decade of Transformation" by the World Economic Forum and the United Nations. These organizations and their Strategic Partners are spending trillions of dollars, and working night and day with 100's of transnational corporations and nearly every major government to bring about their vision of Technocracy.

The only way I see through this decade and beyond is to Exit from these systems and Build free ones. This is outlined in the philosophy of Agorism and the strategy of Counter-Economics. In my book I explain how using Counter-Economics is (at least part of) the solution to remaining free from Technocracy, social credit scores, facial recognition, and the overall push towards the digital dystopia.

I do not see any way to remain "within the system" in the sense of using banks, having your kids in the public school system, paying taxes, buying crypto with KYC protocols, living in the city (you've already given up privacy), etc. If you choose to do these things as we push towards a digital ID, digital currency, and social credit scores you will either be forced to comply (and you will) or exit.

Why wait until you are coerced again (remember the vaxx mandates?) when you could be forward thinking and get ahead of the curve? Why stay dependent on the mainstream supply chain when you could lay the foundation for a new society? Why give into fear and doubt and complacency (comfort) rather than getting ahead and being able to help more people in the future?

The choice is clear to me. I'll leave you with this quote from How To Opt Out of the Technocratic State. I will be writing 2-3 new chapters for an updated version of this book to release in 2023!

"Not only are we all motivated differently but our habits and lifestyles will also shape our ability to be free from the Technocratic State. Homes Being Sold For BTC

I was reading about a home being sold for BTC in Louisville KY.

The seller of the property was reportedly looking to invest profits from the sale into bitcoin by liquidating multiple properties. The buyer had taken an interest in Bitcoin some years prior and suggested he could make the purchase using BTC.

The property was sold for $65,000, according to Brown. After commission, noscript fees and the recording fees being paid in dollars, the final purchasing price was “ roughly 1 Bitcoin” according to the report, which was worth approximately $33,000 at press time.

Ridge noted that normal paperwork and processes were completed, but ultimately, the actual purchase of the home was a direct transfer from one Bitcoin wallet to another. The Courier Journal reports the transaction took about eight seconds to complete, and instead of paying a wire fee of $25-$30, the fee was only $0.70.

EU, UK, US Launching "Disinformation" Policies, Prompting Concerns Over "One-World Governance" of Social Media

The European Union’s Digital Services Act (DSA) and the UK's proposed Online Safety Bill are among the latest government policies designed to hold social media companies responsible for hate speech and “disinformation” posted by users.

Experts interviewed by The Defender expressed concerns about the potential slippery slope of regulations—in the U.S. and overseas—which, under the guise of “combating disinformation,” stifle the spread of information deemed inconvenient for governments and other powerful actors.

In the U.S., these proposals include a government “disinformation board” and a bill pending before Congress, the Digital Services Oversight and Safety Act. The EU’s new regulations, experts said, may have far-reaching impacts beyond Europe. In timing that coincided with Elon Musk’s intent to purchase Twitter, the EU announced April 23 the passage of the Digital Services Act (DSA).

The DSA seeks to tackle the spread of “misinformation and illegal content” and will apply “to all online intermediaries providing services in the EU,” in proportion to “the nature of the services concerned” and the number of users of each platform. According to the DSA, “very large online platforms” (VLOPs) and “very large online search engines” (VLOSEs)—those with more than 45 million monthly active users in the EU—will be subject to the most stringent of the DSA’s requirements.

Big Tech companies will be obliged to perform annual risk assessments to ascertain the extent to which their platforms “contribute to the spread of divisive material that can affect issues like health,” and independent audits to determine the steps the companies are taking to prevent their platforms from being “abused.”
