COVID-19 Cases Are Falling in the Five Least Vaccinated U.S. States
🇺🇸@COVID19Up: The five least vaccinated U.S. states are now all reporting a drop in daily COVID-19 cases over the last two weeks, according to new data from the New York Times.
West Virginia, the least vaccinated state with only 42% of the population fully inoculated against COVID-19, has seen its daily average of new cases fall by 7% over the last 14 days.
Mississippi, which has 47% of its population fully vaccinated against COVID-19, has seen its daily cases fall by 41% over the last 14 days.
Idaho, which is 45% fully vaccinated, has seen average cases fall by 24% over the last two weeks. It has also seen a 9% drop in COVID-19 hospitalizations during that time.
Wyoming and Alabama, both of which are 46% fully vaccinated, saw their cases fall by 48% and 41% respectively. Wyoming has also seen its hospitalizations fall in that time by 22%.

"Like You're in Prison": Woman Explains What Happens at Australia’s COVID-19 Quarantine Camp
🇦🇺@COVID19Up: 26-year old Hayley Hodgson moved to Darwin from Melbourne to escape the never-ending lockdowns—only to find herself locked up in a COVID-19 quarantine camp for two weeks without ever testing positive for SARS-CoV-2.
Hodgson recently returned from a 14-day detention at Howard Springs, the 2,000-capacity COVID-19 quarantine camp outside Darwin.
It all began when her friend tested positive for SARS-CoV-2. Investigators came to her home shortly afterwards—having run the plate number of her scooter to identify her as a "close contact"—and asked if she had done a SARS-CoV-2 test.
In the moment she lied and said yes.
This set off an extraordinary series of events. Hodgson was ordered to pack a bag, transported to Howard Springs and told she could be released if she tested negative. She repeatedly tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 during her 14 days at the camp.

Over 23,500 U.S. Airmen and Guardians Refuse COVID-19 Vaccination as Final Deadline Passes
🇺🇸💉@COVID19Up: Over 23,500 airmen and guardians remained completely unvaccinated as of 8 a.m. Friday (Dec. 3), the U.S. Air Force announced. Roughly 4,000 remained partially vaccinated, meaning they have completed only the first dose.
The deadline passed Thursday (Dec. 2).
More than half of the unvaccinated belong to the Air Force Reserve or Air National Guard. That accounts for around one in every 20 people in the department. Nearly twice as many Guard and Reserve airmen are unvaccinated than in the active duty component.
Over 4,800 exemptions have been approved for people with select medical conditions, such as myocarditis or a known allergy to a component of the vaccine, and for those who will soon leave the military.
Another 2,300 people in the Guard and Reserve won administrative exceptions. Roughly 1,200 more Guardsmen and Reservists are exempt for medical reasons.
There were about 10,500 religious exemption requests, but officials haven’t approved any requests for religious exemptions.

U.S. Congressman Introduces Bill to Force FDA to Release Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine Documents Within 100 Days, Instead of 55 Years
🇺🇸💉@COVID19Up: U.S. Rep. Ralph Norman (R-S.C.) on Thursday (Dec. 2) introduced legislation that would require the FDA to release all records of information submitted to the agency regarding the Emergency Use Authorization of, or licensing of all Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines within 100 days.
The legislation stems from the FDA’s appeal to delay the full release until 2076.
Norman called the FDA’s request “the beginning of a very bad joke.”
In a statement, Norman said:
“The FDA’s only priority should be the health and safety of consumers. The agency has compromised its integrity by delaying information that belongs to the public. Since the Biden administration is hell-bent on forcing these vaccine mandates on us, the public has every right to know how this vaccine was approved, especially in such a short amount of time.
“After all, the FDA managed to consider all 329,000 pages of data and grant emergency approval of the Pfizer vaccine within just 108 days. So it’s hard to rationalize why it now needs 55 years to fully release that information to the public.”

Over 120 Children Hospitalized in Vietnam Following COVID-19 Vaccination, Local Government Suspends Pfizer Vaccine Lot
🇻🇳💉@COVID19Up: The province of Thanh Hoa in Vietnam immediately suspended the use of a Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine lot this week after more than 120 students were hospitalized following their vaccination.
On Tuesday (Nov. 30), the central province started injecting children aged 15-17 with the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. However, over 120 children were soon admitted to hospitals after exhibiting symptoms like nausea, high fever and breathing difficulties, officials announced on Thursday (Dec. 2).
Vu Van Chinh, director of the Ha Trung District General Hospital, said side-effects following COVID-19 vaccination were normal and more likely to happen in children than adults.
"Those who have reactions or faint need to be separated so no chain reaction occurs," said Chinh.
Thanh Hoa CDC director Luong Ngoc Truong said the province stopped using that vaccine lot but will continue vaccinating the children. "We still have other batches, also Pfizer vaccines, so we will continue vaccinating the children," he said.
The suspended COVID-19 vaccine lot would be put into storage and could be used later for other groups like adults, Truong added.
Over the past week, at least three children have died following their vaccination with the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine in Bac Giang, Hanoi and Binh Phuoc. The cause of death has been determined as "overreaction to the vaccine."

This is going to be my last month posting on Patreon. I have been on this platform for nearly a decade and it's time to bring it to a close.
WHY?
Well, for one, as many of you know Patreon has censored some content creators. They have yet to do this to me, but I want to avoid it altogether. Also, because of the censorship, I have lost more than half of my financial support from you guys.
Second, beginning in January 2022 I will no longer be using any Paypal etc and since I don't use banks this account currently pays me via Paypal.
I consider ending this stream of income a gamble but also one step closer to living in line with my values.
How Can You Continue to Support Me?

So far, there have not been an increase in deaths or even hospitalized people who require oxygen, said Greene, who spoke on a call with reporters Monday (Dec. 6).
Overall, experts say news of Omicron's transmissibility and virulence could be very good news.
"It would be a great thing if, in fact, omicron crowded out delta. If omicron was a less pathogenic virus, that would be very good news for the human race," said Greene.
"It's never to the advantage of the virus to kill you," said said Dr. Paul Offit, director of the Vaccine Education Center at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. "All viruses want to be the common cold, just give you the sniffles while you go around infecting others."

Europe Extends Its Coronavirus “Disinformation” Surveillance Campaign Another Six Months
🇪🇺@COVID19Up: The European Commission has announced an extension of its coronavirus “disinformation” monitoring program for another six months, to June 2022.
Values and Transparency Vice President Věra Jourová said: “The pandemic is not over yet, this is why we want platforms to intensify efforts in addressing COVID-19 disinformation, including on vaccines and in all EU languages. We also expect the platforms to translate lessons learned from the COVID monitoring program into a stronger monitoring framework for the new anti-disinformation Code.”
According to the reports about actions taken by social media platforms between September and October, Facebook updated its worldwide COVID-19 policies to include vaccinations for kids. Claims that vaccines for kids do not exist, are untested or unsafe are not allowed.
Twitter also updated its “misleading” information about vaccines policy.
YouTube expanded its medical misinformation guidelines to include claims that contradict consensus by the WHO and local health authorities.
TikTok increased the keywords and hashtags that can return tags and banners about COVID-19 vaccines.
Additionally, Microsoft’s LinkedIn increased collaboration with influencers in Europe to spread “credible” information about the vaccines.
