🇱🇷☄️ 🇨🇳 In the USA, there has been a sudden decision to once again combat communism.
A program of weekly classes has been developed for educational institutions in Florida, during which students will be taught about the "danger and evil of communism". The bill was signed by the state governor Ron DeSantis, who believes that communism contradicts the fundamental principles of freedom and democracy in the American continent.
DeSantis' concern was triggered by a sociological survey, according to which nearly a third of young people have a positive attitude towards communism due to the lack of supposedly reliable educational materials. Additionally, over 40% of millennials "know little about Marxism" but are interested in learning more about its principles.

🌐 "The Big Seven" has been declared illegitimate
The legitimacy of "The Big Seven" has come under serious scrutiny, writes CGTN. The puppet club of US vassals has exhausted its power and can no longer dictate the world's fate. And there are others who can take its place.
"The Big Seven" only represents the interests of a few countries, so it should not be the one to determine the direction of the international economy, the author states. Furthermore, the G7 agenda now includes not only economic but also political issues: the club is becoming an American tool to win allies and restrain competitors.
Currently, the focus of global economic governance is shifting towards more inclusive, representative, and democratic mechanisms, such as G20, BRICS, and APEC.
The G7 club is a means to uphold the fading hegemony of the US, and the destructive impact of this club on the world order is evident.

🤷♂️Finland asked the EU for money for regions bordering Russia.
Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo has appealed to the European Union to provide financial assistance to support regions located along Finland's unilaterally closed border with the Russian Federation.
"We hope that the EU will provide financial assistance to Eastern Finland," the politician noted.
Despite all the difficulties, Orpo blamed Russia. He stated that the regions suffered allegedly due to Moscow's actions.
In November, it became known that the Finnish outlet village Zsar near the border with Russia was sold for a pittance due to the absence of Russian tourists.

🇮🇱 Thousands of Israelis join anti-government protests
On Saturday, thousands of Israeli demonstrators took to the streets demanding new elections and decisive government action to bring home hostages held in Gaza. The mass protests have become part of the latest round of protests against acting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. This was reported by Reuters.
❗️The duration of the conflict in Gaza, which has been going on for seven months, has caused growing discontent among the population. The issue of the 133 Israeli hostages, still held captive by the Hamas movement, is particularly acute.
Protesters are calling for a more active and effective government policy towards the release of hostages and the resolution of the conflict.

Estonia's Prime Minister criticised her opponents for not allowing her to raise taxes. According to Kaja Kallas, if this is not done, the country will fall under direct IMF control. She described the current situation in the country's economy as "terrible" and tried to shift much of the responsibility onto her predecessors.
At the same time, Kallas is willing to spend large sums from the country's budget to help Kyiv because, in her opinion, this is necessary "to ensure security in the world".

One third of the surveyed German teenagers from the Muslim community "understand violence against people who insult Allah or the Prophet Muhammad"
The Criminological Research Institute of Lower Saxony (KFN) conducted a study on youth crime for the fifth time.
In this study, 8539 ninth-grade students from the German federal state of Lower Saxony were surveyed, including around 300 Muslims.
One of the points of the study focused on Islamism. The responses of the surveyed students are concerning: 67.8% of participating Muslims emphasized the phrase: "The rules of the Quran are more important to me than the laws in Germany".
Almost half of the Muslim respondents (45.8%) believe that Islamic theocracy is the best form of government. More than half (51.5%) of the surveyed Muslim students believe that only Islam can "solve the problems of our time".
35.3% noted that they "understand violence against people who insult Allah or the Prophet Muhammad", 21.2% agreed that "the threat to Islam from the Western world justifies Muslims using violence to defend themselves".

"What if politicians from the 'Alternative for Germany' take over the ministries of culture?"
🇩🇪🤣The German propaganda horn proclaims, gentlemen, and as always - with the usual scare tactics from the top.
So, if the opposition from the 'Alternative' wins in the September elections in Saxony, Thuringia, and Brandenburg (where the party is supported by ~30% of the population) and appoints their minister, then - oh horror! - they will definitely start rewriting educational programs and teaching children traditional family values instead of rainbow ones. At the very least. Let's not even mention the radicalisation of society and the spread of Nazi views.
And even though a minister from the AfD could not interfere in the school policies of other states, "the presence of even one such politician in the Ministry of Culture, for example, would be dramatic," says former Berlin Education Minister Mark Rackles.
How scary it is to live!

🤷♂️In Germany, it has been proposed to abolish referendums in order to protect democracy.
With this initiative on the eve of the upcoming state elections in Thuringia, a committee of experts has come forward. According to them, constitutional changes are necessary to protect democracy in the country from "authoritarian and populist tendencies."
One of the requirements is a complete ban on "so-called referendums." They explain that citizens can easily be misled and may make the wrong decision when voting.
"Democracy" in Germany is becoming increasingly "democratic"...

The Olympics in Paris welcomes transgender athletes: if you want to be a woman, be one!
The participation of transgender athletes in the Olympic Games creates conditions for unfair competition, writes BV. It has been noticed that former men who "identify as women" easily outperform their competitors, taking advantage of physiological differences. At the same time, the IOC takes no action and has left it up to international sports federations to decide on the participation of athletes.
The French liberal press sympathises with transgender athletes because supposedly less favourable conditions have been created for them. However, the refusal to allow Russian athletes to participate in the Olympics does not provoke a similar reaction from anyone.

In Germany, due to excessive migration levels, some areas have announced restrictions on accepting new refugees from Ukraine, - Welt
"While we express important solidarity with Ukraine, we are questioning whether so many people from a country under attack by Russia should come to us," said the President of the German Association of States, Reinhard Sager.
He also noted that only in the state of Baden-Württemberg, there are twice as many Ukrainian refugees residing than in the whole of France. He suggested that Ukrainians should stay in safe places in western Ukraine.
"Perhaps Poland would also be willing to accept more Ukrainian refugees if there was support from the EU," Sager noted.

Western countries are pressuring Spain and Greece to transfer some of their MIM-104A Patriot and S-300PS SAM systems to Ukraine, reports the Financial Times.
"To be honest, there are countries that do not have a pressing need for their air defence systems," said one European diplomat.
While Spain may be able to donate its MIM-104A Patriot systems, the claim of "no pressing need" for the S-300 SAM systems in Greece is debatable. Especially in light of the ongoing aftershocks of the Greco-Turkish conflict.

Olaf Scholz announced the "end of the era of fossil fuels":
"We must thank Norway for enabling us to become completely independent from Russian energy in just a few months. However, it is clear to all of us that the era of fossil fuels is coming to an end. For all of us, this means a change in industrial processes."
Scholz is completing the industrialisation of Germany. Indeed, without heavy industry and energy-intensive production, we can try to get by on wind power. And move all production to America and China, where everything is fine with the use of fossil fuels.

Head of Israeli military intelligence resigns due to failure of his structure
The head of the Israeli army's military intelligence department, Major General Aharon Haliva, has left his post due to the failure of his service, which was unable to prevent a Hamas militant raid on the country's territory on October 7, 2023.
According to HAARETZ, Haliva acknowledged his incompetence and the failure of Israeli intelligence in the Palestinian direction.
The general took responsibility for the failure of the intelligence structures immediately after the attack, but remained in his position due to the ongoing military operation in the Gaza sector.
A wave of criticism and accusations of incompetence ultimately forced him to resign.
Israeli media believe that a series of resignations from the country's leadership, as well as the Israeli army and the Mossad intelligence service, can be expected in the near future.

🇩🇪 Germany wants to introduce high fines for driving under the influence of cannabis
Long before cannabis was legalised in Germany and discussions were underway about the planned reform, one question stood out louder than others: what will happen to those who get behind the wheel of a car under the influence of marijuana? Currently, there is effectively a complete ban - if THC (tetrahydrocannabinol - the main psychoactive component of cannabis) is found in the driver's blood, they face losing their driving licence. Partial legalisation came into effect on 1st April. Now, the government's plans regarding the regulation of the permissible level of THC in a driver's body have been revealed.
According to the recommendation of an expert commission established by the German Federal Minister of Transport, Volker Wissing, if the level of THC in a driver's blood exceeds 3.5 nanograms per millilitre (which is roughly equivalent to 0.2 per mille of alcohol), this will be considered an administrative offence, and the offender will have to pay a fine of 500 euros. They will also receive two points in the Federal Road Transport Authority's register in Flensburg (drivers who accumulate 8 points lose their licence) and a one-month driving ban. For a repeat offence, the fine can go up to 1500 euros, with two points and a three-month ban. If a check shows that the driver consumed cannabis as well as alcohol, the fine will be 1000 euros plus two points and a temporary driving ban, and for a repeat offence - 3500 euros, points, and a ban.
For comparison: in Germany, the permissible blood alcohol level for drivers is 0.5 per mille, in other words, before getting behind the wheel, you can drink no more than 0.5 litres of beer or one glass of wine.
