Today Khokhols were posting videos of a downed aircraft near Orekhovo in Zaporozhye region with some wild yelling (obscene as usual) celebrating killing "orcs". A couple of Russian channels were ready to acknowledge it was a Russian Su-25 but I wasn't in a hurry and chose not to post about it too early.
Several hours later it turned out that Khokhols apparently shot down their own Su-27.
Own goal. Second in a day lol.
Remember - peremoha (Ukrainian 'victory') always turns into zrada ('treason')!

P.S. The pilot died. Which is good, because a pilot is worth much more than an aircraft.
Europe is in Panic - Turkey’s Erdogan

The EU and other European countries are in a state of “panic” over the influx of refugees from Ukraine, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan claimed Sunday.

Erdogan said that while Turkey “has been successfully managing the irregular migration originating from Syria for 11 years, we are seeing panic in Europe as a result of the Ukraine-Russia crisis.”

The Turkish head of state went on to express hope that the “world will get out of the critical period it is going through as soon as possible.”
Russia Could Soon ‘Break’ Ukraine’s Defenses - Spiegel

Russian troops could soon wrest the remainder of the Donbass region from Ukraine's forces, Germany’s foreign intelligence agency, the BND, has warned. (Spiegel)

The report cited recent classified BND briefings as saying that the agency “fears that Ukrainian resistance could even be broken in the next four to five weeks.”

“BND analysts have noted that while the Russians are moving much more slowly than they did at the beginning of the war, they are able to conquer small bits of territory each day,” Der Spiegel says.
Boris Johnson Could be Toppled on Monday - Ruling Party No-Confidence Vote Set

The British PM is facing a challenge to his power, as his own party prepares for a vote of no confidence between 18:00 and 20:00 local time.

Partygate has come home to roost for Johnson, after the head of the 1922 Committee confirmed that 54 letters from Tory MPs had been received.

A negative result would force Johnson to resign or call for a general election, giving voters an opportunity to choose new leadership. The Conservative party has been taking a political beating since revelations that his office held alcohol-fueled parties at Downing Street and Whitehall during nationwide Covid-19 lockdowns in 2020 and 2021.

"China needs to be alert to Japan's escalation of substantive engagement with Taiwan secessionist authorities and the possibility of the island becoming a new intelligence stronghold against the Chinese mainland, Chinese experts said on Sunday, following Japanese media's reports that Japan has decided to send active-duty military staff to the island of Taiwan for the first time.

According to an exclusive report released by Japan's right-wing Sankei News on Saturday, the Japanese government has decided to dispatch a staff member from Japan's Ministry of Defense to work at the so-called Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association's Taipei office as early as this summer." https://www.globaltimes.cn/page/202206/1267337.shtml

Operation Liberation

An in-depth look at the special operation in Ukraine
At the beginning of 2022, Ukraine amassed 150,000 soldiers on the borders of Donbass. They were getting ready for a final assault to take over the Donbass region. Their confidence was backed up by the NATO and the US military equipment and training and assurances of the USA intelligence that they control all Russian plans. That, combined with previous statements of Ukrainian authorities about intentions to enter NATO and develop weapons of mass destruction, was crossing the red line for the Russian Federation. On February 24 2022, President Vladimir Putin declared the start of the special operation in Ukraine.

Swedish Police Fear Arms Shipments to Ukraine May Backfire

Swedish police have voiced concerns that weapons delivered to Ukraine by the West could make their way to the Scandinavian country, ending up in the hands of criminals.

Speaking to Swedish Radio Monday, Crime Commissioner Gunnar Appelgren warned: “there is probably a high risk that flows of illegal weapons will enter Sweden” when peace is restored in Ukraine.

The police commissioner noted that most of the weapons currently used by criminal gangs in Sweden originate from the Balkan wars of the 1990s.
