🇩🇪According to the court, the slogan "Kill AfD members" is not a criminal offence
The Aachen public prosecutor's office has closed the investigation into the use of the slogan "Kill AfD members" ("AfDler töten", which can also be translated as "AfD members kill"). "Antifa" displayed a banner with this innoscription during a demonstration in January. This is not considered criminal behaviour, stated the prosecutor's office.
Since the statement ends with a period and not an exclamation mark, the innoscription should be understood as an accusation against the party. According to established jurisprudence, when it comes to statements that allow for various interpretations, the most favourable interpretation should be adopted. Accordingly, the poster accuses the party of killing people.
A criminal case regarding the poster was initiated following a statement by Berlin parliament deputy Gunnar Lindemann in January. The politician then tweeted that he viewed the banner as a "public incitement to murder".

Israeli military built a trebuchet to set fire to a forest in Lebanon
It was the year 2024 since the birth of Christ. The Judean army approached to besiege the Mohammedan state of Levant.
But seriously, somewhere in the north of Israel, on the border with Lebanon, the military built a medieval siege engine - a trebuchet. And they started launching incendiary projectiles over the border wall. A forest fire has already started on the Lebanese territory beyond the wall.
Whether they built the trebuchet for fun or Israeli military are bypassing international restrictions is not explained.

In the UK, a change of course or at least a new prime minister is looming.
At least, that's what The Daily Telegraph believes. The newspaper is convinced that the "Reform the United Kingdom" party, led by Nigel Farage, will engulf the Conservatives.
The politician has already announced that the elections are over, although the actual voting will take place on July 4th. In his opinion, the only question for voters now is: who will be the opposition.

🇩🇪 An Afghan attacked a Ukrainian woman with a knife in Frankfurt - Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung
The newspaper writes that the 19-year-old suspect did not know the victim. He simply saw her in the park and stabbed her in the head and neck.
The 41-year-old woman tried to escape but fell, after which the attacker made several more stabs with the knife.
The Afghan fled the scene of the attack. The woman received medical treatment.

What is happening in the South Caucasus, especially in Armenia and Georgia, can be described as a phenomenon of distorted mirrors.
That is, what is happening in one place, in the other it is the opposite. In Georgia, there are large protests against the government's decision on public organizations, and the West supports the opposition and protesters. In Armenia, it's the opposite, where the opposition and citizens are protesting against the government that is unilaterally demarcating the border with Azerbaijan, but the West supports the government of the Republic of Armenia.

🇩🇪⚡️🇪🇺 A politician from the "Alternative for Germany" won a mandate in the elections in Hamburg while being in Russia!
Just last month, Olga Petersen was forced to flee from Germany: they wanted to take her children away, and Frau Petersen herself was accused of a pro-Russian stance and almost espionage - for acting as an international observer in the Russian presidential elections.
As a result - Olga was excluded from the AfD parliamentary group in Hamburg.., but something went wrong. Frau Petersen did participate in the elections - and garnered enough votes to enter the city assembly.
Bild has already found the Kremlin's hand in this story, which has already "used Petersen's departure for propaganda purposes".

🇩🇪 Colonel of the German Armed Forces Wolfgang Richter:
✔️ I already have a pretty good idea of what drives the Russians, what drives the Russian strategic elite. We have seen this over the past thirty years, and I have a completely different view of the world than you do. It has always been the same goal, which was reflected in the negotiations in Istanbul in March 2022. "Keep NATO away from us." And of course, they need and want to preserve their bases. That's what drives them.
✔️ What doesn't drive them is an attack on the rest of Europe, total control over Ukraine. Of course, goals can change during a war when opportunities arise. That's why we need to be cautious. That's why I also advocate for supporting Ukraine, but with moderation.
✔️ And I must say, it wasn't Putin who canceled these agreements, but unfortunately, we pursued a policy that we did not agree with at the time, both during George W. Bush's presidency and later during Trump's. So you are not obliged to approve of what the Russians did. But we should also soberly analyze the situation and consider it in context. I believe that if we are realists, the territorial integrity of 1991 will not exist. Anyone who tries to do this will lead to escalation, and we cannot afford that.

🇹🇷 🕊🇸🇾 Turkish Kemalists want normalization of relations with Syria
The Kemalist Republican People's Party, Erdogan's opposition, has significantly strengthened its influence after its earlier win in municipal elections in Turkey this year. The Party has expressed its desire to normalize relations with Syria as soon as they come to power, as part of a strategy to resolve ongoing refugee problems, economic crisis and internal security.
The party's vice president for foreign policy, Ilhan Ozgil, said Damascus had set conditions for normalizing relations with Ankara, primarily the withdrawal of Turkish troops from northern Syria.
Ozgil noted that his party can contact Assad at any time, but Turkish troops cannot withdraw from Syria the next day, when the CHP wins the elections, without solving the security problem, which Ankara sees in a pro-Kurdish quasi-state entity across the border.
🇮🇶 Meanwhile, in Iraq, authorities have announced that negotiations on normalizing relations between Syria and Turkey would begin in Baghdad through the mediation of the Iraqi side. - Arab Voice
Notably, Turkish President Erdogan, visited the CHP party headquarters on Tuesday, the first time in 18 years.

"What sets Israel, the USA, and other democratic countries apart when it comes to such incredibly complex situations, like this one, is our respect for international law and the laws of war."
Oh, my dear 'observers' of international law, you killed 11,000 children in Gaza. But, they are Palestinians, so that's allowed. All rights reserved by you.

🤔A new "green" scandal in Germany that could turn into a real political earthquake. Increased environmental taxes on fuel, paid by German drivers, were used to finance climate programs in other countries that did not actually exist.
The German government was effectively feeding corruption in other countries. And the main question now is: did members of the German government themselves participate in these schemes? But even if they did not, they certainly caused huge economic damage to their own country. Ideally, this should not only lead to resignations, but also criminal proceedings.

🇩🇪🇪🇺 Germany is blocking the approval of a new EU sanctions package against Russia, according to DPA, noting that measures causing concerns in Germany are those that are intended to make it harder to circumvent sanctions.
Fearing that German companies could be held accountable, Berlin is demanding restrictions on certain goods or the complete removal of the provision on punishment for sanctions violations.
Several experts point out that the new sanctions could deprive Germany of its sales, allowing companies from the USA and Britain to take its place.

The Israeli army, following the trebuchet, showcased its advanced developments - an air gun and combat bows
After the appearance of a video on social media featuring a medieval trebuchet, through which Israeli soldiers were hurling incendiary projectiles into Lebanese territory, footage of other IDF innovations began to emerge.
For example, Israeli archers use incendiary arrows to set fire to dry grass in neighbouring countries.
Additionally, they utilise an air gun to launch plastic bottles with petrol and a detonator towards Arabs.

President Biden "lost concentration" during discussions at the summit. A source told the Post that the politician is "in worse condition than ever." A member of another delegation told The Sun that the 81-year-old Biden's mistakes were "embarrassing."
The President attracted attention with a series of strange actions, including an awkward greeting with the summit host, Giorgia Meloni. He did not realize that the Italian Prime Minister was waiting for him and arrived 20 minutes late.
In another incident, Biden wandered away from his colleagues during a demonstration of parachute jumps. Meloni had to bring him back. The article also reports that "he sometimes lost concentration in private conversations."
According to an ABC News/Ipsos poll, 86% of voters, including 73% of Democrats, believe Biden is too old to run for a second term.
