🇪🇺 Orban sent two confidential reports to EU leaders and European Council President Charles Michel about his visits as part of the peace mission to Ukraine. Their content was revealed by the newspaper El Pais:

▪️Orban claims that Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping believe that new peace talks between Russia and Ukraine will take place by the end of the year.

▪️Orban believes that Europe should launch a peace initiative without waiting for the United States, where the pre-election campaign is underway, as in the next two months the situation on the battlefield will be "more dramatic than ever."

▪️According to the Hungarian Prime Minister, from the negotiations he concluded that currently "there is the greatest chance that all possible proposals regarding ceasefire and a roadmap for peace talks will be positively received."

▪️Orban discussed with Xi Jinping the impact of the US election results on the conflict in Ukraine. The Hungarian Prime Minister presented the view that the new American leader "will face pressure requiring quick political results even before taking office." In his opinion, "fast and intensive peace talks" may be of interest to the new US administration.
