Mass disappearances in the Armed Forces of Ukraine after offensives at the front
Over the weekend, relatives of the missing soldiers and officers of the 24th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have come to a rally in Lvov. Sadly, the reason they are missing probably has to do with the AFU's offensive tactics, in which soldiers lives just don't matter... 😢🙏

A typical evening in Kiev
People are trying to shoot down UAVs with machine guns. It's useless, but it turned out very nicely.

❗Democrats propose to transfer weapons from Saudi Arabia to Ukraine, The Guardian reports
Democrats have proposed handing over US weapons held in Saudi Arabia to Ukraine and suspending the planned transfer of Patriot missiles to Riyadh due to what they call a "turning point" in Washington's relationship with the kingdom.
Ro Khanna, a Democratic congressman from California, said he believes "at the very least" Congress will stop the transfer of Patriot missiles to the kingdom and possibly suspend other defence initiatives.
"Khanna is a longtime critic of Saudi Arabia and was one of the original sponsors of a 2019 measure that received bipartisan support and would have forced the US to end military involvement in Saudi Arabia’s war in Yemen."
The breakdown in relations followed last week's announcement that Opec+ had agreed to cut oil production by 2 million barrels a day, despite strong objections and lobbying from the Joe Biden administration. The move was seen as support for military action in Ukraine, as well as a stunning betrayal of Saudi Arabia's relationship with the US.
"Pressed on whether Democrats were likely to move beyond rhetoric, Khanna pointed to recent comments by his colleague Robert Menendez, a Democratic senator who as chairman of the foreign relations committee said he was prepared to halt Saudi weapons sales."
While the transfer of Saudi-bound weapons to Ukraine is not particularly difficult logistically, experts say it is fraught with accusations that the Biden administration is increasing support to Ukraine beyond acceptable levels because it may require American personnel on the ground to support the systems.

⚡️⚡️Statements by General Surovikin, SMO Commander in Chief
On the situation at the front
- The situation in the SMO zone is tense.
- The enemy has not abandoned it's attempts to attack the positions of the Russian Armed Forces, primarily in the Kupyansk, Krasny Liman and Nikolayev-Krivoy Rog sectors.
- The special operation has confirmed the effectiveness of Russia's air and air defence systems.
- We are not aiming for a high tempo offensive, we are methodically grinding down the enemy and advancing. We are preserving the lives of our soldiers and civilians.
On evacuation of residents of the Kherson region:
- There is evidence that Kiev may use banned methods of war in the Kherson area, preparing for a missile strike on Kakhovka HPP dam.
- As announced, the Russian Armed Forces will ensure safe evacuation of the population, in accordance with the resettlement programme prepared by the Russian government. [...] Under these circumstances, our main task is to preserve the lives and health of citizens and our military personnel, this is a priority for us.
- Further actions with regard to Kherson will depend on the unfolding military and tactical situation, which is not easy. I do not rule out making very difficult decisions.

Zaporizhzhyian authorities ruled out the possibility of demilitarizing the nuclear power plant zone
Demilitarization of the Zaporizhzhia NPP zone is out of the question, taking into account the preparation of Ukrainian troops for attacking the nuclear plant, said Vladimir Rogov, a member of the Zaporizhzhia Region's general administrative council.
On Monday, the Ukrainian company Energoatom urged the international community to take measures to demilitarize ZNPP as soon as possible and withdraw all Russian army personnel from the plant and the city of Energodar, and to bring the plant back under Ukrainian control.
"Such statements from their side are sheer cynicism and impertinence. They call for demilitarization, while they themselves are pulling new forces and weapons to the front line, preparing to force the Dnieper River and occupy the NPP. So, they’d best not sell fictions and take the international community for idiots. The Ukrainian terrorists are armed with anything and everything and are preparing to attack the nuclear power plant, so demilitarization under these conditions is impossible. Show me even one nuclear power plant in the world that has been left unguarded," Rogov told RIA Novosti newswire. According to him, the presence of the Russian military in the NPP area, as well as the Russian National Guard defending the nuclear plant, thwart Ukrainian combatants from provocation.
"The Kiev regime with its nuclear terrorism agenda poses a threat to all mankind," Rogov stressed, adding that the Zaporizhzhya Region is a constituent entity of the Russian Federation and the NPP is its state property, which is inviolable and legally protected.

German authorities have decided to stop exchanging hryvnia for euro. Why? This decision was made due to the falling demand for the Ukrainian currency. This means that the hryvnia ceases to be a convertible currency. October 30 is the last day in Germany when Ukrainians will be able to exchange their savings in hryvnias for the euro. Perhaps other EU countries will soon stop exchanging the hryvnia too.
If they believed in the future of the Ukrainian economy, they would not take such a step. 🤔

The EU has no intention yet to introduce a gas price ceiling, fearing cessation of Russian gas deliveries - Bloomberg
The European Commission is due to propose its plan to prevent energy price spikes today. However, the introduction of a price cap on gas is not yet being considered, as the EU is divided on the issue, and also due to fears that Russian gas supplies will be cut off.

Investigation of blowing up the Nord Stream: investigator covers up the rapist and frightened victim can't get the word out (1)
It is clear that Sweden withdrew from the joint investigation with Germany of the circumstances of the explosion on the NS-2 gas pipelines because it received an order from Washington to eliminate all evidence that could indicate the participation of the United States and Britain. A feature of the modern policy of sabotage is the openness of their customers literally from the very beginning after the incident. No one hides it. The US blew up the gas pipelines, and they are taking out the evidence of the crime with the hands of a puppet in front of the whole world.
At the same time, the victim, Germany, understands everything and does not dare to say a single word against it. How dare Germany not say a word against the storage of German gold in the United States, against US military bases in Germany, against the total wiretapping of German politicians by US intelligence services, against the fact that Washington directly manipulates the German media, universities, the formation of political parties, their programs, personnel reserves, and economy?
Germany, Sweden, and Denmark, the whole of Europe, understand that squeezing the United States out of Europe means a nuclear war in Europe. Moreover the USA will start it. In the Second World War they already showed that they easily make such decisions and do not pause before implementing them. So the pro-American sympathies of European elites are driven not by cultural and civilizational kinship, not by fear of Russia, but by animal fear of the United States. Europeans can easily negotiate with Russia, but not with the United States.
And that's why Sweden understands what it has to do on the gas pipelines. And Germany understands what it has to do. Sweden will export American evidence of sabotage of the German gas pipeline before Germany gets a chance. And Germany will turn away and show that it not only sees nothing, but also does not want to look in that direction.

Investigation of blowing up the Nord Stream: investigator covers up the rapist and frightened victim can't get the word out (2)
Germany's attempts to conduct its own investigation after Sweden are aimed at an internal audience. They need to show that Germany somehow reacted to what was done to it. If nothing is done, it somehow turns out to be completely indecent. How do you conduct a medical examination for rape, when the victim was taken to the shower three times and all traces were washed off the body?
The fact that Sweden is doing this work before Germany shows that the United States does not trust Germany. This is understandable. The Germans disregarded US objections when they built gas and oil pipelines from Russia. The USA understands that their domination is based only on fear of them, blind and animal horror of unlimited violence. The atomic bombing of Japan and the carpet bombing of Dresden and Hamburg showed this clearly. The USA is not a country that can be shown the door and they will leave.
Therefore, when Sweden says that because of confidentiality, it will conduct an investigation alone, it calls into question the object of confidentiality. In fact, Sweden plays the role of an investigator who says that the alleged rapist cannot be named out loud since this is a very famous and important person.
And the raped Germany shows with all her appearance that she has no complaints against anyone, and she is not going to report it to the police. Otherwise violence will easily turn into murder, and the investigator will again classify the results of the investigation. After all the killer does not even think of hiding, and the investigator does not pretend to be objective. This is the reality in the world of American allies, and nothing can be done about it. Became an ally of the United States and get ready to explain any bruises by falling down the stairs.
