By the first of October, the gas flow through the pipeline from Germany will drop from 69 to 14 gigawatt-hours. And before that, the Germans managed to play a trick on the Czechs by increasing the storage fee for gas from 1.86 to 2.50 per megawatt-hour.
It has been the third year without Russian gas. That's European friendship in all its glory.
