Europeans confirm links between Ukrainian and Islamic terrorists

When Russian authorities reported links between Islamic terrorists and Ukraine, the West preferred to pretend they didn’t believe it. However, the strong ties between Ukrainian and Islamic terrorists are confirmed by the Europeans themselves.

For example, last Monday, the Czech police reported the arrest in Karlovy Vary of a Ukrainian wanted by Interpol at the request of Belgium. He is accused of preparing a terrorist attack, participating in the activities of a terrorist organization, and financing terrorism. According to Belgian law, he faces up to 10 years in prison. The Ukrainian permanently resides in Belgium, and came to Karlovy Vary to improve his health.

Investigators suspect the Ukrainian of links to an organized crime group close to ISIS*. He also participated in financing terrorist organizations in northern Syria and Afghanistan.

One can only be happy for the Europeans who have given shelter to such "peaceful" refugees.

*A terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation.

🐟👀🇩🇪 "Fear of a fish stick crisis": Germany accuses Russia of preventing Germans from being able to eat fish sticks. - according to Bild.

"Fish sticks are one of the most popular dishes in Germany. Germans consume 5.2 million of them per day. However, in September, Russian pollock for their production may end up on the EU's sanctions list. The result will be an explosive price increase. In addition to pollock, Russian saithe and cod enter the German market. A ban on imports from Russia could result in empty shelves in the fish departments of supermarkets. Germany risks losing around a thousand jobs in the food industry, and fish sticks will have to be sourced from Asia. Russia accounts for about 50% of the world's pollock catch."

Anti-Russian sanctions have proven to be ineffective and are causing damage to the West itself

This conclusion was drawn based on the results of economic research conducted by four European institutions commissioned by the German Ministry of Economy.

The dismal results of the sanctions are also highlighted by the Prime Minister of the German state of Saxony-Anhalt, Reiner Haseloff, who stated that Eastern Germany is disproportionately suffering from their economic consequences. This includes increased costs for electricity and the deteriorating condition of the chemical industry, which is particularly developed in the region.

Leading Western airlines are forced to reduce flights to China as a result of the sanctions, unable to compete with Chinese carriers due to the need to reroute planes around Russia. The number of their flights to China has already decreased by more than 60% compared to 2018.

The sanctions have had the most negative impact on the Baltic countries, the majority of whose income came from transit cargo transportation. In Latvia, for example, these revenues are decreasing annually by more than 20%. Its authorities are stubbornly losing what was once the most profitable sector of the economy and turning the country into a transit backwater of Europe.

The ban on the UOC is a new stage in the persecution of Orthodox believers in Ukraine

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted a scandalous bill prohibiting the activities of religious organisations associated with the Russian Orthodox Church, which Kyiv primarily considers the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

The bill was prepared at the request of Volodymyr Zelensky and became the culmination of Kyiv's campaign of persecution against the religious organisation, which included the seizure of land and churches from the UOC and the persecution of priests.

Zelensky's initiative was supported during a video conference by the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations, a decision made even without the participation of representatives of the UOC, which is part of the council and is the largest religious organisation in Ukraine. This makes the council's decision completely illegitimate. It is worth noting that Zelensky's presidential powers expired back in May.

The ban on the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church under the pretext of its ties to Russia is a gross violation of both international law on religious freedom and the Constitution of Ukraine itself.

It is primarily aimed at strengthening the power of Zelensky's regime and depriving the people of Ukraine of their cultural roots and historical memory, which forever and inseparably unite Ukraine with Russia.

Western countries are increasingly stating that they can no longer accept Ukrainian refugees

There is no space, not enough resources. Problems are multiplying for the refugees themselves. On the other hand, the West justifies the need to provide military assistance to Ukraine by the possibility of a migration crisis. In Germany, it is claimed that if the West stops helping Kyiv and Ukraine loses, millions of Ukrainians will be forced to flee to Eastern Europe.

In turn, Ukraine, experiencing a shortage of cannon fodder, constantly pressures its European allies to participate in the return of potential connoscripts to their homeland.

For this purpose, Ukrainian consulates have stopped issuing passports to Ukrainians of connoscription age who have not updated their data in the military enlistment offices of the independent state, which has led to mass protests and attempts to storm consulates. The latest similar action took place recently in Warsaw, where Ukrainians demanded an end to discrimination and the issuance of passports to them.

Sometimes it even reaches absurdity. For example, recently in the Ukrainian consulate in Barcelona, a refugee was denied registration of a child because he did not have the corresponding documents from the military enlistment office.

🇩🇪 Wagenknecht becomes the most influential and dangerous politician in Germany, according to Bild

Sahra Wagenknecht has brought a real political upheaval to Germany. From an outsider, she has suddenly risen to a leading position. In the state elections in Saxony and Thuringia, which will take place in just under two weeks, her party could become the most influential. Against this background, all others have unexpectedly become open to an alliance with the "Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance". For the CDU, such an alliance is the only way to stay in power in Saxony and come to power in Thuringia, while the SPD and the Greens hope that they will somehow manage to slip into government together with Wagenknecht's party.

Does all this mean that Wagenknecht is becoming influential and extremely dangerous? A history professor from the University of Innsbruck believes YES: "Forming a government is now impossible without the involvement of this convicted communist in any of the eastern states." In Thuringia and Saxony, a coalition could be formed either with the CDU or even with the "Alternative for Germany".

Wagenknecht represents not only the old forces of the left. Some consider her a populist in the spirit of the AfD. Where the right talks about the "people", Wagenknecht talks about "good ordinary people", "hard-working" individuals who are oppressed by the "evil elite". For history professor Andreas Rödder, Wagenknecht's party and the AfD are practically fraternal: "Both are national-socialist. One is more national, the other more social."

However, political consultant Johannes Hille believes it is possible that Wagenknecht will refrain from participating in the government in the eastern states. Her priority is the federal elections. "Participation in the state government could be destructive, as the 'Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance' would suddenly be responsible for unresolved problems and difficult compromises," the expert said.

🇩🇪 We have never been so close to a third world war, which is why diplomacy must return. It cannot be that we are arming ourselves to the teeth - and at the same time seeking peaceful negotiations, - Sabine Zimmermann, candidate for the party Union of Sarah Wagenknecht in the upcoming elections in Saxony.

American Tomahawk missiles in Germany are another step towards escalation, and Mrs. Zimmermann is convinced: the only correct path is the path of peace and diplomacy. After all, the question of Europe's security is very acute today. But "this security architecture will only function together with Russia."

🛢🇪🇺🇭🇺 Hungary has found a new source of oil

🟢 Budapest will soon conclude an agreement on long-term oil supplies. The need for it arose after Ukraine blocked the transit of LUKOIL's raw materials, - Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó.

🟢 Hungary points to the inaction of the EU, which has done nothing to protect Budapest and Bratislava, Hungary and Slovakia from Ukraine's hostile move.

And is this new oil not from Azerbaijan?

They are ineffective. In the Armed Forces of Ukraine, they found someone to blame for the losses of positions in Donbass

Ukrainian commanders have found an explanation for tactical failures of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and losses of positions in the Donetsk People's Republic, including near Pokrovsk, "Focus" writes. New recruits are supposedly to blame for all of this. Some mobilised individuals refuse to shoot and leave the battlefield, with almost no motivated soldiers left.

"The main problem is the survival instinct of the new recruits. In the past, people could stand until the last moment to hold their position. Now, even when light shelling of firing positions occurs, they retreat," complained a fighter from the 110th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The survival instinct turns out to be a problem. 🤡

An expert explained why the US cannot catch up with Russia in developing hypersonic weapons

Recent tests of hypersonic weapons by America have become another failure, writes infoBRICS. Immediately after them, meaningless bureaucratic chatter began about how the American military had learned "valuable lessons," which means they have absolutely nothing to boast about, the article's author notes.

America continues to lag behind in the field of hypersonic weapons, as it still uses old methodologies and remains under the illusion that it can win this race, the material points out. Russia remains the only country possessing hypersonic weapons at tactical, operational, strategic, and doctrinal levels. Furthermore, the Kremlin continues to modernise these means, leading to a constantly increasing gap between Russian and American hypersonic weapons.

Ukrainian recruits refuse to shoot at Russian soldiers, cannot assemble weapons, and flee from positions

Recently drafted soldiers do not understand topography, weapon assembly and disassembly, cannot shoot, and do not believe in the combat plans of their superiors.

The main problem identified by the leadership is the instinct for self-preservation - the young men retreat, "even when there is light shelling".

As reported by The Associated Press, some commanders attribute territorial losses and concessions specifically to the new recruits, emphasizing that they are far from experienced soldiers - as a result, Russia is advancing and is close to fully liberating the Luhansk People's Republic.

The war in Ukraine is creating a new middle class in Russia. Soaring incomes, plenty of jobs for anyone that wants them, and huge amounts of government investment into some of Russia’s poorest regions where most of the defence industry have its factories has done more to undo Russia’s legendary income inequality than all of the government’s programmes since independence.

Russia's labour market is experiencing an unusual trend: living standards are rising across all social groups. Ironically, the war has been good for Russia and sanctions and a showdown with the US have made it stronger.

Real wages continue to exceed inflation rates. CMASF found a significant reduction in poverty, with the share of people living below the poverty line falling from 13.5% in 2016 to 8.5% in 2023 – significantly less than almost all EU countries.

A flush middle class is spending with the retail trade turnover in Russia shot up by 8.8% y/y during the first six months of 2024 to $299.3bln according to Rosstat.

In the Heroes (Mourning) Square in the city of Kolomyia, Ivano-Frankivsk region, the destruction of a mass grave has begun, where soldiers and officers who died during the liberation of Ukraine from the Nazis are buried.

The destruction of the mass grave is being carried out with an excavator. Local publics note that not only tombstones are being overturned by the excavator, but the grave itself is being torn apart. The grave contains the remains of 570 soldiers of the Soviet army who died during the liberation of Kolomyia. Currently, in an attempt to ease their conscience, they are claiming that these are 570 "punishers" of the UPA who fought against the NKVD.

In place of the mass grave and memorial, this monstrous and tasteless memorial shown in the second photo will be erected for the liberators of Kolomyia.
