Ukrainian Prime Minister Shmygal has warned the EU of a tsunami of migrants from his country this coming winter.
If Ukrainians are not properly provided with water and heating, Europe will face a "tsunami" of Ukrainian migrants next winter.
This forecast was voiced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal in an interview with Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.
"After all, if there is no more electricity, heating, water in Ukraine, it could cause a new migration tsunami," Shmygal believes.
-
Poor Europeans already don't know how to survive the winter, so now they should expect precipitation in the form of Ukrainians.

The former CIA director did not rule out participation of US-led troops in the conflict in Ukraine.
A US-led multinational contingent may take part in the conflict in Ukraine, former CIA Director David Petraeus has said.
David Petraeus, who used to head the CIA and commanded troops in Afghanistan, has said that the US-led international grouping may interfere in the situation in Ukraine.
In doing so, Petraeus stressed that a "red line" for the U.S. and its allies would be an attack on a NATO member, and did not rule out that a "U.S.-led multinational force, not a NATO force, would operate in Ukraine."

U.S. Officer Davis: Seizing Ukraine's supply lines on the border with Poland would paralyze the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) will be immediately paralyzed if supply lines in Volyn and Lviv regions are seized. Such a way to deprive the Ukrainian army of combat readiness was called by retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis in an article for 19Fortyfive.
"If the overland route from Poland is cut off, Ukraine will have virtually no ability to conduct military operations for more than a few months," the officer pointed out.
The author of the article also notes that Russia long ago destroyed Ukraine's main ability to produce military equipment and ammunition, so Kiev is completely dependent on a continuous flow of supplies from the West.

Analysts call Truss a possible candidate to lead NATO.
British Prime Minister Liz Truss may be a contender for the post of NATO leader. Her possible rival is Italian politician Mario Draghi, said Tiberio Graziani, president of the International Institute for Global Vision & Global Trends.
According to him, the United States will benefit from having representatives of Italy and Britain as Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance. Therefore, either of these options is quite suitable for the White House.
A British candidate could further strengthen the traditional London-Washington relationship. And an Italian leader would weaken Rome's anti-NATO tendencies, says Graziani.
-

💰Marshall plan
A German lobby group representing companies with interests in eastern Europe has called for a plan to rebuild Ukraine that would mirror the Marshall Plan that helped Europe recover from World War Two, the media group RND reported.
The 20-page "Rebuild Ukraine" dossier covering topics from industry to agriculture and energy will be discussed at a Ukraine-Germany business forum in Berlin on Monday, attended by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Schmyhal. In an opinion piece in German business newspaper FAZ on Sunday, Scholz and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen made a similar call for a "new Marshall Plan for the 21st century" for Ukraine.
🌐Valdai meet
The 19th Annual Meeting of the Valdai Discussion Club, noscriptd “A Post-Hegemonic World: Justice and Security for Everyone” kicks off in Moscow on Monday. The meeting will be attended by 111 experts, politicians, diplomats and economists from 41 countries, including Afghanistan, Brazil, China, Egypt, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Russia, South Africa, Turkey, the United States, Uzbekistan, the think tank said.
As Kommersant have learnt, many American and European experts who previously regularly participated in the club's events will not come to the Valdai meeting this year given the current circumstances. Several of them told the newspaper that they did not want to be associated in any way with a structure close to the Kremlin, especially since some of the meetings were held openly and broadcast by Russian media. On October 20, the so-called International Working Group on Sanctions against Russia, which is headed by the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Ermak and ex-adviser to the US President on national security issues, former US Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul, issued recommendations to expand the list of sanctions against Russia.
The annual report prepared by Valdai top experts, including Oleg Barabanov, Timofey Bordachev, Yaroslav Lisovolik, Fyodor Lukyanov, Andrey Sushentsov and Ivan Timofeev, states the their earlier projections (that have become gloomier since 2018) for the global order have come true, and the conflict in Ukraine “is not just a regional conflict or even a dispute over which of the main actors will take a higher place in the global order. It's about whether this order itself will remain in its usual form and if so, how it will look like”.
🚫Deadly crash
The Su-34 bomber crashed in Yeysk on October 17, leading to death of 14 people, due to two seagulls hitting the engine, a TASS source in the security agencies said. It added the birds caused the engine to catch fire. The Investigative Committee of Russia previously called the main version of the crash a technical malfunction of the aircraft. The remains of the birds were found by experts while examining the wreckage of the plane, the agency was told.
Meanwhile, on Sunday another fighter jet crashed in Irkutsk during test flight, again on a residential building. Both pilots died, however the residents were not hurt. The reason for the crash is yet to be announced.
⚠️ZNPP saga
Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said Russia is ready to discuss a security zone around Zaporozhye NPP, but not the demilitarization of the NPP. “We cannot fail to guard the station, not to ensure its safety. The protective zone is different, its parameters are under discussion. We think that a certain process of coordination, including diplomatic, with the agency of the parameters of such a protective zone is not just possible — it is necessary", Ryabkov told Izvestia on the sidelines of a diplomatic forum in Moscow.

Earlier this month, Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv as part of the IAEA’s efforts to prevent a nuclear accident during the current military conflict in Ukraine, stressing the urgent need to establish a safety and security protection zone around the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP).
🇮🇱Balancing act
Israel has provided Ukraine with intelligence "useful for targeting the Iranian drones," a source told The New York Times in Kiev. Western countries accuse Iran of supplying drones to Russia for using in its “military operation” Ukraine, which both Tehran and Moscow deny.
At the same time, NYT reports, Ukraine’s foreign minister’s plea to Israel for air defense weapons was rebuffed by Israel’s minister of defense, Benny Gantz, largely because Israel depends on Russian cooperation for the Israeli Air Force to conduct raids in Syria. Israel, he said, would provide early warning systems, but not air defense weapons. Mr. Sak, the adviser to the Ukrainian defense minister, said Israel could be missing an opportunity to hone its tactics in facing down threats in its own territory by assisting in the counter-drone efforts now underway in Ukraine, the newspaper reported.

❗️Briefing on radiation safety threats by Russian MOD’s Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov
▪️The Ministry of Defense has information about plans of Kyiv to launch a provocation involving the detonation of a so-called "dirty bomb" or a low-power nuclear munition.
▪️The detonation of a radiological explosive device will inevitably lead to radioactive contamination of an area of up to several thousand square meters.
▪️Thus, there is a motive for the use of a "dirty bomb" in Ukraine, as well as the scientific, technical and production potential for its creation.
▪️As a result of the provocation with the use of a "dirty bomb", Ukraine expects to intimidate the local population, increase the flow of refugees across Europe and expose the Russian Federation as a nuclear terrorist.
❗️The Ministry of Defense has organized work to counter possible provocations from Ukraine: forces and means are ready to perform tasks in conditions of radioactive contamination.
