The filming crew followed Chechen units of the Russian army on the frontline: how they fight, where they sleep and what challenges they face. The film has a reality effect: viewers have to escape shelling, inspect fortified positions and share simple meals. The Russian soldiers not only fight with Ukrainian neo-Nazis but also help civilians who are stuck in the combat zone. Chechen soldiers share medication, food, water and other supplies. ‘I want to help, so they can return to normal life as soon as possible,’ says codename ‘Shmel’, a soldier of the National Guard of Russia in the Chechen Republic.

Swedish Police Fear Arms Shipments to Ukraine May Backfire

Swedish police have voiced concerns that weapons delivered to Ukraine by the West could make their way to the Scandinavian country, ending up in the hands of criminals.

Speaking to Swedish Radio Monday, Crime Commissioner Gunnar Appelgren warned: “there is probably a high risk that flows of illegal weapons will enter Sweden” when peace is restored in Ukraine.

The police commissioner noted that most of the weapons currently used by criminal gangs in Sweden originate from the Balkan wars of the 1990s.

Daniil Martynov, an aide to Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov’s power unit, is dubbed by the mass media as the ‘toughest Russian in Chechnya’. He’s fighting in the Ukraine special operation as one of the commanders of Chechen divisions. The Chechen Republic military has taken part in all the significant actions, so Daniil has vast experience to share.

According to Martynov, Kiev nationalist propaganda drugs and scares Ukrainian soldiers to force them onto the battlefield. On every captured roadblock, Daniil finds unlimited dope and NATO equipment. Most Ukrainian prisoners of war say they were persuaded Russia intended to murder them all. Yet, when captured or surrendered, these people were truly surprised by the humane attitude of Russian soldiers.

City in Donetsk Shelled by Ukraine

As the West continues to focus on alleged Russian atrocities in Ukraine, crew headed to Zugres in the Donetsk Republic, which is still scarred by a shelling in 2014 that killed 15 people, including several children.

Locals recall being shot at while merely enjoying a day at the beach. According to some reports, Kiev may have been using illegal cluster bombs against civilians.

“That day is our pain, our tragedy. And if someone is trying to prove that it’s all fake, I simply have no words for that,” a resident told.
