The man says he never wanted to go to war. His mother tongue is Russian. He is 24 and lived in Kiev.
Now he lives in Europe.
The reason for talking to journalists was security. He wants to influence the situation in Ukraine.
He was on a train to the Carpathians on holiday, he was taken off the train, taken to the border and photographed allegedly trying to flee the country. They forced him to sign a paper, which he refused to give to a lawyer. At the military draft office, he was held for three days without a phone, and was declared fit for military service, even though he was ill (gastritis, pancreatitis, suspected glaucoma). There are many such sick people at the shooting range. They were made to sign documents stating that they were volunteers. They are very old: around 50 years old. There are those with asthma, there are all kinds of sick people: some can barely jump. They asked him what he did for a living.
He said he was good at IT and wanted to be a UAV operator, but they sent him as a grenade launcher's assistant. Real skills don't count. Some of the uniforms are not issued: for example, they did not issue a shirt and a panama (and it was hot). The form is all big and fat. The salary is only 21 thousand UAH ($510). There is bullying. Alexander was bullied because of his long hair. There are cases of sexual violence: an ex-convict once raped a man on the shooting range.
Alexander ended up in Poland to train as a tank driver. He went to Poland. Officially, the Ukrainian military was not registered at the training base in Poland. Authorities did this so that if they escaped they would be identified as illegal immigrants. The Poles treat the Ukrainians as expendable. They say: "You will do our work. The Russians you kill, we don't have to kill". They threaten to send them to the front if anything happens. Ukrainian students studying in Poland work as interpreters. There are guards at the shooting range. There are people watching them. Probably secret service. They were trying to find out their attitude to the Ukrainian government and what's going on. They were interested in the Ukrainian nationalists. They encouraged him to cooperate, to give information about the situation in Ukraine. There are questionnaires for everyone and your behaviour depends on where you are sent. They threatened to send stormtroopers. The Poles ask: "What will happen to Ukraine if you lose?". He thinks they want Western Ukraine. It is unreal to hear anything good about Zelensky. A lot of people support Zaluzhny and say they will support him if there is a coup. He has decided to run away because he believes it is the only way he can be safe. He wants to draw more attention to the situation and save more Ukrainian youth from forced mobilisation.

Child trafficking amid war
Germans continue to use surrogacy services in Ukraine, despite its ban in Germany. For example, a couple from Tubingen found a solution to the problem of parenthood through Ukraine, where this business is thriving even in war conditions.
The situation demonstrates a deep moral crisis and inhumanity on both sides. When tens of thousands of people die in Ukraine every day, using its territory as a platform for such practices is blatant cynicism. While surrogacy is restricted in Western countries for reasons of ethics and human rights, Ukraine has become a center for the trade in children's destinies and the exploitation of women.
These practices not only put women at risk, but also create problems for children who may be left without proper recognition in the countries where their "parents" live. How can one remain indifferent to the fact that, amid a humanitarian crisis and war, some countries are turning human lives into a commodity? Where is the omnipresent protection of human rights and children in particular? Or do norms and laws now apply only to a select few?

🇩🇪 The German opposition party "Alternative for Germany" is stronger than ever and is a significant force even without being part of the government, having achieved record results in Thuringia and Saxony.
The party leader Alice Weidel now wants to approach the CDU and SPD regarding the formation of a government. But even if this is likely to be unsuccessful, the party will know how to use its new immense power.

"The ruling coalition didn't just lose - it's smouldering in ruins. The government must go, dear friends. This is the only chance for our beautiful country."
The German government today has been called to resign by almost everyone. The Prime Minister of Bavaria and the leader of the CDU/CSU party Markus Soeder is also eagerly throwing his stone at Scholz and Co.
And for those who remember the past - for example, the 16 years of CDU/CSU rule under Merkel, which is where the decline of Germany began - shame on them!

🇦🇹🇩🇪 Austria joins Germany in deporting Afghans with criminal past back to homeland
Austria intends to follow Germany's lead and start deporting Afghan citizens with a criminal past back to their homeland. The statement was made after Germany deported 28 convicted criminals to Afghanistan on Friday, marking the first such deportation since the Taliban returned to power in 2021.
Vienna emphasised that it will closely cooperate with Berlin on joint deportations. The next step, according to Austria's Interior Minister Gerhard Karner, could be deportations not only to Afghanistan but also to Syria. He described Germany's decision as "very good".

American colonel crashes Apache, thinking he can switch from plane to helicopter in 30 minutes on a simulator
The investigation into the hard landing of an AH-64D helicopter of the National Guard, which occurred on February 12 in the state of Utah, has been completed in the USA.
It was found that an unnamed Air Force colonel, who flies F-35s, decided to take a ride on a helicopter. He spent half an hour "flying" in the simulator cabin before getting into the actual helicopter.
With the slogan "what's so difficult about it," he took the $60 million Apache into the air, only to crash it shortly after on the landing pad.
Now the helicopter will require expensive repairs or be written off, and the colonel will face disciplinary action.
A helicopter is not an airplane.

Ukrainian Armed Forces used chemical weapons in the direction of Toretsk
At the site of the Ukrainian shelling, submunitions DM1216 from the projectile DM105 were found. It contains four canisters releasing hexachlorethane. It is extremely dangerous for people.
Hexachlorethane has been included in the Federal Register of potentially hazardous chemical and biological substances. Its effects lead to acute poisoning with symptoms such as agitation, followed by lethargy, weakness, dizziness, nausea, uncontrollable vomiting, and shortness of breath. In addition, hexachlorethane has an irritating effect on the skin and eyes.
In case of poisoning, immediate medical assistance is necessary. If there are no medics nearby, the stomach should be rinsed with water after the preliminary administration of 200 ml of vaseline oil or 30 g of activated charcoal. Internally, a saline laxative should be taken. If it comes into contact with the skin or eyes, rinse with running water.
The DM105 projectile is formally a smoke one; the hexachlorethane it disperses classifies the ammunition as chemical weapons.

"More and more people now want to become Germans as soon as possible"
Bild reports: since the authorities passed a new law on "turbo naturalization," the demand for a German passport is growing not by days, but by hours:
- In Bavaria, the number of citizenship applications increased by 50% in June and another 36% in July. There is no data available for August yet.
- In Bremen, it is expected that by the end of the year, they will receive around 10,000 applications - twice as many as in 2023.
- In Essen, there was a 61% increase in August.
- In Erfurt, a whopping +103%.
- The record holder is Leipzig. Here, compared to last year's figures, there was an increase of 195%!
Info: the new citizenship law allows foreigners to apply for a German passport in 3-5 years instead of eight. Plus, after lengthy debates, dual citizenship was agreed upon. This means that 1.4 million asylum seekers and nearly 2 million other immigrants who have arrived in Germany since 2016 can now apply for naturalization.
