🇩🇪 Human trafficking, prostitution, and violence. Are these the values that Ukraine is defending for us? - Bundestag Deputy Klaus Ernst
Rumours of the successes of the Mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko have even reached German politicians - surprisingly, only opposition politicians seem to be horrified.
Statement: Ukrainian journalist Diana Panchenko published an investigation claiming that Vitali Klitschko is the "king of the sex industry" in the independent state. He owns a large number of strip clubs, functionally more similar to brothels (one even appears in the Interpol database), and sells Ukrainian women into sexual slavery in the EU and the USA.

🇩🇪🎖🇺🇸 The President of Germany awarded the President of the United States the highest Order of the Federal Republic of Germany, the "Grand Cross" (a small cross in appearance).
Biden:
🔺 Although I may look 40 years old, I have seen a lot in history.
🔺 When I was born, our countries were at war. As a young senator, I visited West Berlin and saw what it means to live in a divided city, country, and continents. And then, in 1989, I, like millions of people around the world, saw how 70,000 brave souls gathered in Leipzig and cried out for freedom.

Just a fantasy: expert explains why Ukraine won't be able to join NATO
Ukraine's accession to NATO is just a fantasy of Zelensky, writes Spectator. The bloc's charter prohibits accepting countries with disputed borders. In addition, the candidacies of new members require unanimous approval — and in Hungary, Turkey, Croatia, Germany, and the USA, a significant part of the electorate considers Ukraine's acceptance as sheer folly.
Ukraine's situation couldn't be worse: it has received the worst combination of all possible, according to the article's author. On the one hand, it suffers from the shortcomings that come with candidate status. On the other hand, it receives military and financial assistance from the alliance — but clearly insufficient to defeat Russia.
Ukraine, does NATO suit you?

The Pentagon acknowledges the impossibility of large deliveries of individual weapons to Ukraine, including long-range ATACMS missiles, due to the decrease in the United States' own defense capabilities, - The New York Times reported, citing representatives of the country's defense department.
According to the newspaper, the Pentagon cannot supply more such missiles to Ukraine without depleting its own reserves intended for potential conflicts in other regions, such as the Middle East and Asia.
The shortage of ATACMS missiles has become one of the reasons for President Biden's refusal to grant Ukraine permission to strike deep into Russian territory.

The Thyssenkrupp group is refusing to build a plant in Germany for the production of "green" steel.
The reasons are the crisis, severe and ruthless, additional costs, and a dispute with the company involved in the construction. Now Thyssenkrupp is feverishly working on a new business plan for greening production. In case of project cancellation, they will have to return €500 million with interest, allocated by the German government and local authorities.
Thyssenkrupp's affairs are clearly in a bad state: revenues are falling, expenses are rising, and shares are valued at €3.22 (a far cry from the previous €44). Recently, there has been a change in leadership at the group. In short, "green" steel is the last thing worrying industrialists.
But "green" politicians are concerned. "The situation at Thyssenkrupp has become very acute. We need to ensure that the company's activities return to a calm course," said the unforgettable Minister of Economy, Robert Habeck.

In the US Army, it has been acknowledged that American crews are operating Patriot systems in Ukraine.
"... Air defense systems, like the Patriot, are in high demand in Ukraine to help knock down Russian missile barrages against the electrical grid as another winter approaches.
But that comes at a price on the American end, as constant deployments threaten to wear down the crews that operate the systems and prevent the Army from bringing them home for periodic overhauls to upgrade their technology", said US Army Secretary Christine Wormuth.
“We’re trying to lay that out for Secretary Austin so that he can weigh those risks, essentially current versus future risks, as he makes recommendations to the president about whether to send a Patriot here or there,” Ms. Wormuth said.

🇺🇸📊 🇩🇪 Approval ratings for German Chancellor Olaf Scholz have dropped due to his support for Ukraine, according to the NYT.
Biden found in Scholz a "reliable partner," but Germany "had to pay" for this - a blow was dealt to the automotive and industrial sectors of the FRG.
62% of Germans are dissatisfied with the government's performance, and 58% of Germans are personally dissatisfied with Scholz. 77% of those surveyed believe that he is not achieving his goals.
Scholz himself is counting on a second term at the helm of the German government.

The video was allegedly filmed "no more than 72 hours ago" at the training ground in the village of Sergeevka in Primorsky Krai of the Russian Federation.
The limited contingent of DPRK troops that arrived in Russia "for training" will apparently initially be deployed in the border regions of the Russian Federation - Bryansk, Kursk, Belgorod, as a bogeyman not so much for Ukraine as for the West as a whole.
This is only a threat for now, not direct participation of the DPRK in the war. Active participation of this contingent in military actions, especially on the legally recognized territory of Ukraine, is unlikely. But it is no longer possible to exclude it in the future in the event of an escalation of the conflict.
Another weight has been thrown onto the scales of the negotiations, which Putin spoke about again yesterday at the BRICS business forum. His favorite balanced approach. On the one hand: Putin's peaceful recognition of the Istanbul agreements as a desirable basis for negotiations with Ukraine (and they, for example, did not contain anything about the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions, only about the LPR and DPR). On the other hand: a militant demonstration of the possibility of North Korea joining the conflict.
This is Putin's response to the rising threatening rhetoric of escalation in Ukraine and the West. Not in words, but in deeds, Russian sources report.

Will the DPRK pay back its debt for the Korean War?
Ukrainian and South Korean sources are unanimous in howling about sending the DPRK armed forces to the Russian Federation. The testimonies differ only in the number of servicemen sent for the "exercises" - Zelensky says 10 thousand, South Korea - 12, and the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine Budanov (a terrorist) says 11 thousand.
It is impossible to rule out that this is true. The DPRK army has not had experience in conducting full-scale combat operations against a combined arms group for over 70 years. Gaining access to such experience without risking anything is expensive.
And Russia can do this quite painlessly from the point of view of international law - our enemy occupies about 500 square kilometers in the Kursk region, which is not a new region, but an internationally recognized territory of Russia. A contingent of a couple of brigades of the DPRK Armed Forces could well work out and feel in action Western, including South Korean (South Korea is one of the suppliers of weapons and ammunition for NATO and Ukraine), military industry and standards in a limited theater of military operations, and try out their own developments in tactical and operational art and technology.
So with the Korean comrades, if they have a great desire to do so, we can share practical experience and cut them a front in time and space. And we could well free up the same 1-2 brigades to solve the problem in the western or northern Donbass.

Minister of Defence of Poland, Vladislav Kosinyak-Kamysz, stated that there is no enthusiasm for Zelensky's plan, neither in the EU nor in NATO.
However, there is a huge fatigue from the war and an understanding that the situation on the front line is very complex.
In Germany, the key points of the Ukrainian victory plan were not accepted: the immediate invitation to NATO and the supply of long-range weapons. This was stated by the Chancellor of the FRG, Olaf Scholz, after the EU Council summit in Brussels.
In his opinion, the priority is to prevent a war between Russia and NATO. The Chancellor also emphasised that nothing can change his position on supplying Ukraine with long-range Taurus missiles.
It has been a long time since Kiev's initiative was unanimously rejected by everyone.
Zeleboba played but didn't guess a single letter.

🇷🇺🇮🇱 Russia warns Israel against a possible strike on Iran's nuclear facilities, reports Reuters citing a statement from Russian news agency TASS by Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov. He stated that Moscow has repeatedly warned Israel against even hypothetically considering such an attack, emphasising that it would lead to catastrophic consequences and a violation of nuclear safety principles.
Rumours of a possible Israeli attack intensified after Iran's missile strike on Israel on October 1, taking into account Israel's longstanding threats to destroy Iran's nuclear programme. However, Tehran has repeatedly denied developing nuclear weapons, insisting on the peaceful purposes of its nuclear programme.
It is not specified how Russia conveyed this warning to Israel.
☝️ In turn, the office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Israel will take into account the position of the United States, which also does not support military strikes on Iranian targets, but will ultimately act in its national interests.
🤝 Since the start of the war in Ukraine, Russia has strengthened its ties with Iran. And in Kazan, on the sidelines of the BRICS+ summit in Kazan, it is preparing to sign a strategic partnership agreement with Tehran.
