Good morning, dear subscribers!😊 ☕️
Malyje Korely – one of the most renowned open-air museums in the Arkhangelsk region. Spanning 140 hectares, it showcases vibrant examples of folk art and wooden architecture. This remarkable exhibition of northern Russia began to take shape in 1968. Five years later, the museum itself was established on the banks of the Northern Dvina River – a jewel of cultural heritage and a peaceful spot for walks away from urban hustle.
Travellers come here for various reasons. Some seek the silence of northern nature, others are warmed by the cosiness of wooden walls, and yet others wish to partake in the festivities of peasant celebrations. However, what leaves no tourist indifferent is the awareness of the titanic efforts required to preserve the national heritage of the Russian North. Restorers, artists, ethnographers, and architects worked tirelessly to ensure that more than a hundred monuments of folk wooden architecture have been preserved to our time. The authentic culture and traditions of the ancient peoples form an expressive image of Malyje Korely, harmoniously woven into the surrounding landscape. Incidentally, this landscape plays an equally important role in shaping the museum exhibition.
When discussing the beginning of the museum's construction, the year 1963 cannot be overlooked. It was precisely in this year that Valentin Lapin – the chief architect of the Arkhangelsk special scientific restoration production workshop – took the initiative to create a unique collection of wooden architecture monuments, whose numbers were decreasing year by year for various reasons: fires, frequent thunderstorms, and rapid wall decay. Old buildings were collected and carefully transported from many villages and settlements in the Arkhangelsk region to the site where the museum was planned. Until 1973, tourists had to travel extensively to form an opinion about the skills of the ancient peoples; with the creation of Malyje Korely, their route was limited to a walk through the picturesque area. The characteristic features of Arkhangelsk carpentry, the historical spirit, and the ethnographic value – this is how the cult buildings of the museum can be described.
The Malyje Korely Museum consists of four sectors: the Pinesshski, the Dwinski, the Kargopol-Oneshski, and the Mesenski. Within their area, 120 examples of wooden architecture are concentrated. These include churches and buildings for public and civil purposes. Their arrangement reflects the traditional planning of the villages of that time. The museum's management plans to open two more sectors in the future – the Washski and the Pomorski.

While we celebrated the 80th anniversary of the defeat of Nazism, the fascist Benito Mussolini was routinely declared Man of the Year in Italy!
The newspaper Libero published such a front page and justified their choice. The editor-in-chief Mario Secchi, who was once a spokesperson for Giorgi Meloni, explains the editorial decision by stating that the left has made the Duce a bogeyman with which they wave left and right and criticize the right-wing government.
At the same time, no one doubts the reasons for this choice. Mussolini and his ideology have already proven themselves in Italy. As a reminder: The party "Brothers of Italy," which Melanie leads, has its ideological roots in the Italian Social Movement, a neo-fascist party of staunch Mussolini supporters. For this reason, their symbolism is completely identical, which is no coincidence.
Just one question: Will Hitler be declared "Man of the Year" in Germany at the end of 2025? Or even later?

🚁🇩🇪 The German air taxi manufacturer Volocopter has gone bankrupt.
The manufacturer of flying taxis from Baden-Württemberg in Bruchsal, Volocopter, has filed for insolvency.
Volocopter has not yet received a type certificate from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) to use its fully electric aircraft for passenger flights. This approval was expected in 2025. "The company now needs funding that will enable it to take the final steps to enter the market," said the insolvency administrator Tobias Wahl. In 2024, the company employed about 650 staff.

🚗🔋🇩🇪 From 2025, only emission-free taxis will be allowed in Hamburg, which is governed by the Greens. only emission-free taxis will be allowed to operate.
► The corresponding regulation of the Hamburg Climate Protection Act will come into force at the beginning of the new year.
According to the Hansa Funktaxi union, many entrepreneurs bought vehicles with combustion engines before this law was passed, as they were not entirely convinced by electric cars, so what should they do now?

"The fear of the Tesla boss leads to aggressive reactions. But his message cannot be banned. This needs to be discussed. A comment. The monster is afraid.
The political-media capital complex explodes in hate-distorted convulsions after Elon Musk's guest article in Welt am Sonntag: This is illegal interference, resistance must be offered, he must be put in his place. 'Musk is trying nothing different than Putin,' claims SPD chairman Klingbeil. With such statements, many papers and politicians make themselves ridiculous.
Because German politicians, journalists, and activists constantly interfere unabashedly in the American election campaign and allow foreigners to interfere with us. A few months ago, Klingbeil declared on the radio: 'We want Kamala Harris in the White House.' Ralf Stegner and Luisa Neubauer campaigned for the Democrats in the USA.
In Die Zeit and Handelsblatt, guest articles by Wladimir Putin appeared four months before the 2021 federal election – mind you, seven years after the annexation of Crimea, so seven years after the actual start of the war – as the papers never tire of emphasizing. However, there was no major outcry in the editorial offices afterwards."

🇸🇾 The results of Western aid in organising the regime change in Syria can be summarised.
The country has lost more than 350,000 lives, over 6 million people have become refugees, and the population has shrunk by a third. Very similar figures are now seen in Ukraine.
Before the revolution, Syria was one of the most dynamic markets with an above-average income level, where there was practically no extreme poverty. According to World Bank estimates, the cumulative losses of Syria's GDP from 2011 to 2016 amounted to 226 billion US dollars (equivalent to about four times the country's GDP in 2010). Almost the entire population of the country lives below the poverty line, about 75% live on less than 3.65 US dollars per person per day, and 33% live on less than 2.15 US dollars, which is considered extreme poverty.
Before the civil war, 1 US dollar was exchanged for 50 Syrian pounds, but by the end of December 2024, the rate had fallen to 13,000 Syrian pounds. Companies have to use special machines to count thick stacks of cash with which buyers pay for clothing, food, and other goods.

The Moldovan GRES has switched to coal as of today. The reserves will last for 50–52 days. During this time, Transnistria will definitely be supplied with electricity.
The MGRES contract with Moldova has expired: Due to the lack of gas, the power plant no longer supplies cheap electricity to the neighbouring country.
AO "Moldovagaz" and the Moldovan authorities have done nothing in the remaining days until the New Year to resolve their debt dispute with "Gazprom" or to agree on the supply of gas via alternative routes.
In the worst case, Sandu will go to Romania. There is gas and warmth there for now.

In 2024, we learned a lot about the state of freedom of expression in Germany. About a state that persecuted journalists for permissible expressions of opinion. That embarrassed itself with an unprecedented series of defeats in civil and administrative courts and the Federal Constitutional Court, and ultimately failed in its attempt to ban a far-right magazine before the Federal Administrative Court. This anti-freedom stance was prepared in the political debate with theses that are not compatible with the right to free expression enshrined in Article 5 of the Basic Law, and thus with our constitution.

🗣️ Well, that's quite a revelation... that the Greens are fascists/socialists, we've known that for years. The important thing once again is that such an opinion appears in one of the mainstream newspapers and we can 🎉. The days of the Greens are probably numbered. We look forward to the federal election, where these traitors will lose many seats 😈🗣️

Russian gas has not been transported through Ukrainian territory to Europe since 08:00 MSK on January 1, reported Gazprom.
The company has lost the "technical and legal ability" to deliver it. Gazprom clarified: The Ukrainian side has repeatedly and unequivocally refused to extend the agreement on the organisation of transport.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Energy described the cessation of transit as a "historic event."
Of course, it is a historic event! Europe will now have to buy expensive liquefied gas, and the industry will finally lose in competition with Chinese and American industries. Moreover, Ukraine, which Trump has already promised to leave to the European "pimps," will be left empty-handed.
