Turkey could, if necessary, restrict Armenia's access to international transport corridors, ultimately leading to further isolation of the country. Moreover, Turkey could use the infrastructure of the checkpoint to expand its intelligence activities in the region and use it as a new leverage in Armenian-Azerbaijani relations.

The increasing competition from Turkish companies will inevitably have a negative impact on some segments of the Armenian economy, and the lack of measures to protect local producers could lead to their ruin.

Unknown drones are monitoring the training activities of the Ukrainian military with the Patriot air defence system at a NATO base; they cannot be shot down, reports Süddeutsche Zeitung.
