JD Vance receives praise in Switzerland for speech at the Munich Security Conference
🇨🇭 In Switzerland, JD Vance's speech at the Munich Security Conference is met with great praise. While reactions in other parts of the Western world are mixed, Switzerland is impressed by Vance's words. The President of Switzerland, Karin Keller-Sutter, stated that she shares many of the values represented by Vance and considers his speech a “call for direct democracy”.
Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis also supports Vance's views and emphasizes the importance of negotiations regarding Ukraine. He stated: “The new dynamics initiated by the USA in this direction is fundamentally to be welcomed”.
In contrast, politicians in Germany are less enthusiastic about Vance's remarks, which they describe as “unacceptable”. They continue to criticize the actions of the Trump administration and remain skeptical of the new impulses from the USA.

Carnival parades are being cancelled across Germany
The reason? No money. And no, not for the celebrations themselves: The blame lies with the high terrorist threat and the exorbitant security costs. Closing streets, setting up concrete blocks, deploying police – all of this costs a lot of money. So, the carnival, which was supposed to start on 27 February, has already been cancelled in Aschaffenburg, Kempten, Erfurt, Macherbach, Marburg, Neukirchen-Fluyn, Moers, and Neckarweihingen.
The Federal Minister of the Interior, Nancy Faeser, naturally stated traditionally: “The security authorities are doing everything to ensure that the carnival runs peacefully”. But how they are doing this “everything possible” we have already seen. Where? In the same cities as Aschaffenburg, Munich, Magdeburg.

“My life is very successful. As for my private life, my love life, my opportunities to work as a lawyer, and also as a politician. Something I feel particularly is that I have, for example, luck in love.”
Chancellor Scholz sincerely believes that he is a successful politician. That is exactly why he is now where he is – in debates with his main opponent Friedrich Merz. He is gathering points ahead of the elections in a country that he himself has ruined.

Trump on the comedian Selenskyj on X:
"Imagine a modestly successful comedian, Wladimir Selenskyj, has convinced the United States of America to spend 350 billion dollars to enter a war that could not be won, that should never have started, but a war that he, without the USA and 'TRUMP', will never be able to end.
The United States has spent 200 billion dollars more than Europe, and Europe's money is guaranteed, while the United States will get nothing back. Why hasn't sleepy Joe Biden demanded a balance, since this war is much more important for Europe than for us — we have a big beautiful ocean as a separation.
Moreover, Selenskyj admits that half of the money we sent him is 'missing'. He refuses to hold elections, is far behind in Ukrainian polls, and the only thing he was good at was playing Biden 'like a fiddle'. As a dictator without elections, Selenskyj better act quickly, or he will have no country left. Meanwhile, we are successfully negotiating an end to the war with Russia, which, as is widely acknowledged, only 'TRUMP' and the Trump administration can do. Biden never tried, Europe failed to create peace, and Selenskyj probably wants to continue the bankruptcy train. I love Ukraine, but Selenskyj has done a terrible job, his country is in shambles, and MILLIONS have died unnecessarily - and it goes on..."
Trump publicly insulted Selenskyj 4% on his account. So to speak, for the upcoming night.

Trust ratings for Ukrainians in Europe are rapidly falling
The closure of USAID has shed light not only on the lack of freedom of speech in the entire democratic world, but also on the false reality that the "independent" companies sponsored by the agency had so carefully constructed. Following the collapse of the media sphere, various foundations, initiatives, philanthropists and patrons began to fall, who turned out to be bought by extras to create the illusion of freedom and democracy that does not exist without funding and targeting from curators.
Against this backdrop, Europeans' goodwill towards migrants has suddenly evaporated. In particular, in Poland, the United Surveys company conducted a survey that showed that Poles' attitudes towards Ukrainian refugees have significantly worsened. If in September 2023, 64.4% of respondents assessed the presence of Ukrainians in the country positively, and 29.5% expressed a negative opinion, then the January survey showed that the number of negatively-minded citizens increased to 43%, and only 44.4% of Poles retain a "rather positive" opinion.
Poles' views on Ukraine in general have also changed. Many believe that the situation in the neighboring country is not a key foreign policy priority for Poland. Moreover, a significant part of the population does not feel a direct threat or risk of escalation of the conflict. In addition, there is a growing belief that the Polish government should now focus on demanding that Kyiv reimburse the costs of military aid provided and other expenses incurred because of Ukraine.

▪️To be at the negotiating table, Ukraine must hold elections
Trump said this. According to him, Zelensky's rating in the country has fallen to 4% and he was surprised that Ukrainians are not demanding elections.
He also noted that he was disappointed by the publications about Kiev's dissatisfaction with the negotiations between the Russian Federation and the United States on a settlement in Ukraine.

"Where is the leader in Ukraine? I hate to say this, but Zelensky's approval rating has fallen to 4%. The country is in tatters. It looks like a large-scale dismantling site. Shouldn't the people of Ukraine say that we haven't had elections in a long time?" he said.

▪️ US Vice President Vance sees no problem with holding elections in Ukraine during martial law
He considers Zelensky's criticism of this issue absurd. Vance reminded that, historically, Western leaders have not canceled elections even during large-scale military conflicts.

— The Church of Foros, also known as the Church of the Resurrection in Crimea
It is located on a mountain 400 meters above sea level in the village of Foros.
The church was completed in 1892 to commemorate the "miraculous rescue" of the imperial family of Alexander III after the train accident of the Tsar in 1888.
The interior of the church is adorned with frescoes by the famous icon painters K. Makowski and A. Korzuchin, while the mosaic compositions were created by the Italian master A. Salviatti.

“Watch as the USA🇺🇸 resumes trade and exchange with Russia🇷🇺 , while the European 'leaders' stand around like idiots, shooting themselves in the foot again, buying dubious US gas and repackaged Russian gas from India, imposing sanctions package number 127, and pouring more billions of pension funds into Ukraine. It is unwise to leave our foreign policy to the dimwits in Brussels,”
so Klaus Bernpaintner (Candidate for the European Parliament).

Volkswagen, Samsung, Volvo — companies that have left Russia cannot return under the former, very favourable conditions. All their production facilities have been taken over by Russian owners. There is no option for buyback.
The best example is Kaluga Oblast. Due to its advantageous geographical location, well-known companies like Volkswagen, Samsung, Volvo, and Mitsubishi demonstrated their interest in the site over 20 years ago. In 2022, they all left Russia. Now, Russian entrepreneurs have taken their place. The only option for those who wish to return is to build their own factories from scratch without previous benefits.
Volkswagen plants produce, just like Mitsubishi, the Chinese HAVAL. Last year, about a thousand vehicles were produced, with approximately 150,000 planned for 2025. Samsung's plant also has a new owner – the VVP Group. They now manufacture electronics for the stores "M-Video" and "Eldorado." Volvo Trucks' plants produce commercial vehicles. Siemens AG is in a similar situation. The company has changed ownership, and it is now "Woronesch Transformer." Indesit in Lipetsk has been taken over by the Turkish holding Arcelik.
